The first classes in journalism presents the necessity to gain these five answers to these five questions to build a readable story. It appears that Evangelism has also used this same method to present its story to the world. While this “method” may not be wrong, is this the actual gospel we have been commissioned to preach? Of course these five areas of information are certainly basic truth! However, from God’s Viewpoint the Gospel begins at creation and with God’s Eternal Purpose! God also asks the question; “What” is Man, in Hebrews 2. However, God asks the question about man’s identity in the context of His Plans and Purpose FOR MAN. In other words “man” can only find his true identity within God’s Will, through God’s Ways and by fulfilling God’s Eternal Purpose. This single modification of our vision and message within the context of the Divine Purpose will alter the focus and message of the Gospel of the Kingdom that we have been commissioned to preach. Therefore, let us examine how God evaluates “man.”

Hebrews 2:5 For He did not subject to angels the world to come, concerning which we are speaking. 6 But one has testified somewhere, saying, "WHAT IS MAN, THAT THOU REMEMBEREST HIM? OR THE SON OF MAN, THAT THOU ART CONCERNED ABOUT HIM? 7 "THOU HAST MADE HIM FOR A LITTLE WHILE LOWER THAN THE ANGELS; THOU HAST CROWNED HIM WITH GLORY AND HONOR, AND HAST APPOINTED HIM OVER THE WORKS OF THY HANDS; 8 THOU HAST PUT ALL THINGS IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS FEET." For in subjecting all things to him, He left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we do not yet see all things subjected to him.

Hebrews 2:9 But we do see Him who has been made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone. 10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to perfect the author of their salvation through sufferings.

It is not difficult to both see and understand that God evaluates “man” according to His Plans and Purpose for “man.” “Man” is also evaluated by God’s plan to bring “many sons” to the same glory of His Ideal and Prototype Son. Why? That is simply because God will not subject the “world yet to come” again to the dominion of angels. Why? The Next Creation will be subjected to “man.” The King / Priest (after the Order of Melchizedek) with full dominion over the NEXT CREATION is “the Man”, Christ Jesus and with Him the “many sons.”

For He did not subject to angels the world to come, concerning which we are speaking. What, then, is the subject of this question being discussed; WHAT IS MAN? The subject is “the world to come, concerning which we are speaking.” God evaluates “MAN” according to His Plans for the world yet to come. The “world to come” refers directly to the next creation, following this one, of the Tabernacle of God, “the true Tabernacle, in heaven, that God made not man.” This understanding will surely change or at least modify the Gospel and the way it is now being preached.

Why is this understanding essential for modern “believer?” That is because “man” can never be “complete / perfect” until he transitions to God’s Purpose by becoming a NEW CREATION now to prepare to become part of that New Creation or the “world yet to come.”

Growing up into the New Creation by being, BORN OF GOD = Preparing to participate in the NEXT New Creation!

Since this understanding has been ignored in the present “ man centered gospel,” the purpose of the message is just going to heaven when we die.

God’s Ideal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s Prototype Son, is what we should be setting forth as our example in attaining to all Christian values! Why? That is because we cannot evaluate “man” by the experience of the natural man after the pattern of first Adam. He is NOT our example. Therefore, we cannot see all the things that have been subject to “man” by looking at the natural man That end purpose of God can only be seen, understood and evaluated by what and why all things have been subjected to Jesus, who was given authority over both heaven and earth!.

Hebrews 2:9 But we do see Him who has been made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.

Since these “statements” begin with angels, and that “man” was made lower than the

angels, let us evaluate the angels by their substance. Angels are “spirits.” Man was created “lower than spirits” and was created out of the dirt that is so plentiful on earth. Still, “man” was given dominion over the earth and the things on the earth. What must transpire first? Man must eat from LIFE rather than just knowledge! NO LIFE = NO DOMINION! Fully develop knowledge = No Dominion!

We all should be aware that these things are recorded within the context of our “so great a Salvation!”

Hebrews 2:1 For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it. 2 For if the word spoken through angels proved unalterable, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense, 3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? After it was at the first spoken through the Lord, it was confirmed to us by those who heard.

In other studies we have shown that this is ONE of the “warnings” to the Hebrew Church. It seems clear that “so great a salvation” is directly related to God’s plan for man, according to His Purpose for the World yet to come. If this interpretation is correct, then “salvation” is not “say these words of believe my doctrine” but is related to doing His Will and fulfilling His Purpose! Of course, that concept is not accepted by most ministries even if it is confirmed by scripture.

Hebrews 5:8 Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered. 9 And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation, 10 being designated by God as a high priest according to the order of Melchizedek.

John 3:36 "He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."

Many of the warnings given to the Hebrew Church are confirmed by other scriptures, specifically in Revelation 2 and 3 and other places. Since our High Priest, who is also KING and God’s Prototype Son, is our example of God’s Ideal Son, God, Himself, demands our obedience to Him. Why? That “obedience” is related to our “so great a Salvation.” Since obedience is rejected by nearly all Fundamental Ministers, if we relate obedience to “salvation,” they will condemn that as false doctrine. Therefore, their “gospel” ignores obedience so they focus upon “JUST BELIEVE!”

Now, since we are focusing these studies upon the Letters to the Hebrew Church, it is essential that we understand the “substance” of the Christian to which these warning are directed. The “Ideal MAN” is not just “human and male or female” but is of an entirely new and quite different creation. Since the New Creation and New Species of “man” is not made of dirt, flesh or anything of this earth, he is in reality a “totally New Creation.”

Col 3:9 Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self with its evil practices, 10 and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him 11 --a renewal in which there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and freeman, but Christ is all, and in all. 12 And so, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. 14 And beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.

If we assumed that these expectations and those of Matthew 5-6 and 7 was written to and demanded of the “other, old and natural man”, our expectation for obedience and turning the other cheek would be shattered by our inability. [I know that by personal experience]

It is for that reason (a totally new creation) that these many requirements and warning should be accepted and heeded. The Lord assumes that His instruction and these “demands” can be followed, and obeyed, by New Covenant Christians.

When any of these requirements and demands are placed upon the natural man, a great frustration with our inability is experienced. This is the error of the legalistic groups that expect the natural man to meet the high expectations of Bible { New Covenant} Christianity .

Therefore, the new man, new nature, new Covenant ability must precede the advancement of Christian Character. Also, developing Christian Character precedes the Kingdom Expectation of perfection or Kingdom Maturity.

Colossians 3:25 {written to the Church} For he who does wrong will receive the consequences of the wrong which he has done, and that without partiality.

(Some churches add “unless he is already saved.” Why? That is because , they say, of GRACE there are no consequences which exist.) Of course that is a lie and foreign to the Gospel of the Kingdom! It is because of true New Covenant Christianity that the Gospel of the Kingdom permits no excuses and does not apologize for its requirements and demands!

Therefore, when God asks “WHAT IS MAN,” He asks the question within the parameters of His Plan and His Eternal Purpose which is associated with the World yet to Come! The World yet to Come is directly associated with the Tabernacle of God and His Throne on the Eternal Mount Zion! The World yet to Come also includes the New Earth, the New Heaven and the New Jerusalem. The actual calling of the New Covenant Christian is to the New Jerusalem and to the Heavenly Mount Zion! God, Himself and the Lamb are the TEMPLE of that realm. Why? That is because there is NO other temple at that dimension of God’s Eternal Purpose! However, there is a temple in the New Heaven realm of His Purpose!

Maybe, my reference to the New Covenant Christian as opposed to what is normally accepted as Christianity offends some. However, We are living in the dispensation for our preparation to participate in the Eternal Government of the Kingdom of God. That “preparation” is effective ONLY in the New Covenant Christian. I grew up in a religious system of “normal Christianity” and I never heard about the Kingdom of God except as a reference to heaven. NO PREPARATION was necessary because all who believe something about Jesus are already “Christians.”

In accordance with God asking “WHAT IS MAN,” we might also add our questions.

What is Christian?

What is Eternity?

What is Bride?

What is Preparation?

What is Bible Fruit.

What is ??????

Why Is; Where is; Who is; When is;

All these questions are valid and that some “ministers” are attempting to answer. Most “answers” are directed toward the judgement seen in the Book of Revelations. Most of these focus upon the Why, Where, Who and When. (The time of conspiracy, disaster and judgement is upon us) {They are already poisoning our food and water and messing with our minds.} [These chemical trails are already being sprayed from airplanes.] and hundreds of other warnings that are NOT connected to the Book of Hebrews nor Revelations 2 and 3! These “carnal warnings” are impractical for the perfection and maturity of the Church He is Building!

If we neglect the WHAT IS MAN and WHAT IS GOD’S PURPOSE we may be wasting our opportunity to prepare a corporate people for Eternity. All these warnings and predictions, without a genuine Kingdom preparation, is a tremendous waste of opportunity. Why?

If we have a genuine Kingdom Preparation, these earthly “warnings” become irrelevant. Why? We have fulfilled the purpose of this dispensation and are ready for the First Fruit Harvest of the earth and can be gathered into God’s Dwelling Place. Spending any more time on earth is pointless! We all speak about the glories of heaven and how wonderful it is, but then we do everything possible to delay our going there.

Still, it is good to warn the unrepentant and the casual, lukewarm believer that is ignorant of God’s Purpose or is not preparing themselves for a personal participation in eternity! It is now very important that the Kingdom person to be taught how to Evangelize the visible church and the believers that are going there because they have some expectation of learning something. Evangelizing the “world,” that have no desire for truth, is very slow and difficult.

The largest corporate group now, that are already seeking “something,” are already attending the visible church! Still, they can expect very little and they are receiving very little that will prepare them for eternity. Evangelizing with the Kingdom Gospel is important!
