Each one of us who are intent upon participating in the Kingdom will understand that the “Knowledge of The Kingdom” is only preliminary to the “Experience and Life of the Kingdom.” Many who are aware of the Kingdom and know the “doctrine of the Kingdom,”will never develop into a truly Kingdom Person. That means they will never bring their lives into harmony with the Kingdom nor will they ever live within its total Government. Most will never be transformed into Eternal Persons by living within its Government during their time on earth.

This should be understood to be a tremendous disappointment for the Christian Life, a big waste of time and a great failure by the “ministries” entrusted with that responsibility of “teaching” the people.

This may be stretch but it may be the lack of understanding about Mount Zion that has permitted this ignorance of God’s Eternal Purpose to reduce the vision of “the born again church” from their predestined place in Eternity, to just to going to heaven when they die.

My theory is that every born again believer has been called, not just to go to heaven but to ascend up to Zion. Zion is the exact place of the Throne of God and the place from where Jesus IS and from where He rules. A short review of a few scriptures on Zion may help us to understand the magnitude of our ultimate calling.

Psa_48:2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

Psa 50:2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shone forth. 3 May our God come and not keep silence; Fire devours before Him, And it is very tempestuous around Him. 4 He summons the heavens above, And the earth, to judge His people: 5 "Gather My godly ones to Me, Those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice."

Psa_132:13 For the LORD has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation.

Psa_146:10 The LORD will reign forever, Thy God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD!

Isa_4:5 then the LORD will create over the whole area of Mount Zion and over her assemblies a cloud by day, even smoke, and the brightness of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory will be a canopy.

Isa_33:14 Sinners in Zion are terrified; Trembling has seized the godless. "Who among us can live with the consuming fire? Who among us can live with continual burning?"

Jer_50:5 "They will ask for the way to Zion, turning their faces in its direction; they will come that they may join themselves to the LORD in an everlasting covenant that will not be forgotten.

Heb_12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels,

Rev_14:1 And I looked, and behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads.

It is not difficult to understand that the Glory and Presence of God is in on Zion which is also the believer’s Highest Calling but which requires the highest level of Overcoming and Perfection. One translation Calls God, Himself, ZION! There are a great many scriptures about Zion and many are types and shadows of the Eternal Mount Zion where God dwells and the Place of His Throne. This Eternal Zion is also the place from which Christ Jesus Rules over His Kingdom. Attempting to “visualize” Zion as a place with visible details is not practical. The various scriptures on Zion are the very best provision for receiving the “revelation” of Zion.

In this study our focus is not upon Zion, the PLACE, but upon the Life of Zion that is essential for the People of Zion. In the Eternal Realm, the full God Head, The Kingdom, the Government, the People and Zion are inter- immersed. The Kingdom being the Government and Zion being the “PLACE,” the Throne, the Mountain of His Presence!

However, in this document we will begin with the natural man and follow his ASCENT to “Zion.”

Every one of us begins this “ascent to Zion, the Kingdom,” as the big “ME.” “ME” is number “ONE” in all things. The Big “I” is on the throne of “MY” life and “I” rule over “MY” domain and “MY” destiny. “I” will do anything and everything to protect “MY” dominion and preserve the “BIG ME.”

However, one day, we come under conviction and realize we are lost in the realms of Eternity and we need a Savior. As God, the Father, draws us, we recognize Jesus as that Savior who has died for “MY” sins. The Big “I” recognizes that “I” must be born into another realm called Salvation. Therefore, the “BIG I” repents and “I” receive “CHRIST, The Living and Abiding Word of God” to live in and with “the Big I.” “I” am still in control of “MY” life and”I” still sit upon”MY” throne and want to protect “MY DOMINION.” However, “I” permit the Spirit of Christ to share my body. Then “I” proudly proclaim that “I” am saved!

Then “I” hear about the Holy Spirit and how He will give “ME” power and gifts and ministry. This is Good News for “ME” and an opportunity to express “MY EGO” though “ministry.” However, the Holy Spirit must baptize “ME” into Himself and dwell in “ME.” “I” immediately seek that gratification but “My” intent was for HIM to help “ME” be recognized and keep “MY” ego intact. Now “I” have decided to permit both the Living Word of God AND the Holy Spirit to share “MY” body. Three of us can exist together as long as “I” am in control and make the decisions!

Then I hear about the Kingdom and the source of the Authority and Power which is now available to “ME.” “I” will begin to cautiously investigate this Kingdom to understand how “I” can benefit from this next realm of Christian Life! Therefore, “I” begin to seek the Kingdom with “MY” whole heart. I discover that God wants to give those who overcome a place on “HIS” throne. Then “I” discover that if “I” overcome “I” can receive authority over the nations and “I” can rule with Him. This is really “good news for “ME.” Why?

In this natural life “I” have no position, no authority and no one wants to hear what “I” say. However, if “I” can get a pulpit, others will respect “ME” and they will have to listen to what “I” say.

“I” Remember the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship? The “BIG I” was manifested in every meeting! “I” was once president of the local club in 1976!

After some time “I” realize that the Kingdom has a Government and Laws that must be obeyed. Also, the Kingdom has certain “standards” and “manners of Life” that it demands. The things that “I” permitted in “MY” life were no longer acceptable and the Kingdom Government demanded that “I” change to conform to the Kingdom Life!

When “I” finally realized that this “Eternal Government” expected “ME” to give up

“MY” life so “I” could live by that “Kingdom Life,” “I” had to make a “life” changing decision. Now, to give up the “BIG I” and consent for the “BIG ME” to be reduced to nothing by experiential death and burial, was much too radical. Why can’t “I” just say “YES TO JESUS” and then go to heaven when “I” die. Then “I” was confronted by certain scriptures that insisted that “I” was expected to “OBEY” Jesus Christ to be sprinkled with His Blood.

1Peter 1:2 according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, that you may obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be yours in fullest measure.

Hebrews 5:8 Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered. 9 And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation,

Now, the “structure” is changing and “THE BIG I” is expected to begin to OBEY Jesus Christ. Now, a new reality is challenging “MY” independence and “MY” Self Government and insists that the “BIG I” is no longer the ruler over my own life. Also the Holy Spirit begins to put demands upon me and attempts to “sanctify” me. Suddenly “I” discover that another “higher Authority” will come to dwell in me If I can bring my life into harmony with Christ, the Living Word of God. Even the Father wants to crowd into my body and the “BIG I” has another visitor to share my body with.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him.

At first this sounds like a great blessing to have the Father, the Word and the Holy

Spirit to share this space with the “BIG ME.” However, it becomes clear that “They” have not just come as visitors to “share” with me but they have come as the Host of Heaven to establish their Kingdom Government in “MY LIFE.” They want me to give up “MY LIFE” and to begin to Live by Their Life.

Now “I” panic because “I” will no longer live but Christ will live His Life in “ME.” Well, that is really strange because no one told be this “EXCHANGED OF LIFE” was related to “MY” salvation, “MY” calling and to “MY” destiny.

Then I discovered that “heaven” is a Kingdom where EVERYONE does the Absolute Will of God or they are removed from His Presence. Even the devil and a lot of angels learned that the hard way! But why wasn’t “I” told that in the beginning? That is because a “gospel of salvation” was preached INSTEAD of the Gospel of the Kingdom. Why? The Gospel of the Kingdom would certainly offend the “BIG I” and we want to fill the pews!

But why is that “Gospel” so radical? That is because everyone who is accepted into the Kingdom MUST have the same “LIFE!” The confusion of thousands of lives, life styles, wills, opinions, ideas and directions is just NOT permitted to function in that Governmental realm. Why? That is because God, the Father, and His Only Begotten Son, Christ Jesus, are the Absolute Kings and only ultimate authorities in the Kingdom Realms. EVERYBODY must do their will in order to dwell in that realm of ZION! To “stand with Him on Zion” requires the most radical and astounding transformations possible among men.

Well, brother, “I” want to go to Zion so what is the very least that “I” can do to ascend up that Mountain? That, alone, will eliminate you from Zion.

Psalms 50: 4 He summons the heavens above, And the earth, to judge His people: 5 "Gather My godly ones to Me, Those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice."

Everything, eternal, is established by two or three witnesses.

“Well, the very least that is expected of you is to make this Covenant with God by sacrifice!”

“Should I bring a tithe, an offering, give my house or give up my job?” That would be wonderful if you wanted to join a church or a club but that will get you NOTHING in the realms of Zion. This “EXCHANGE OF YOUR LIFE FOR HIS LIFE” is the very minimum requirement!

As we have seen in the Consecration Offering, which was demanded in the preparation of the Priests, there were four sacrifices offered. There was (1) the Sacrifice, (2) the Offering, (3) the Whole Burnt Offering and (4) the Sacrifice for Sin. These, combined, speak of doing the whole will of God. Still, this was just part of the Total Consecration Offering.

In my own experience, and over 44 years sharing with others, many “BIG I’s” have made the “consecration offering” by offering many “other” things but have retained the “BIG ME.” Little did we realize that the “BIG ME” had to be offered to God “by sacrificing” “ME” as the requirement to participate in “the Covenant of Zion.” Why? The life of the “BIG ME” cannot be accepted into the Kingdom, especially in Zion, because there is NO PROVISION made to accommodate a different or lower life. Why? That is because a different life will bring with it all kinds of contrary opinions, ideas, plans and programs.

How do you know that a lower personal life cannot be accepted in these eternal realms? In the Eternal Realms of the Kingdom Government of God, all participants MUST have the same LIFE. Why? That is because there can be NO independent persons, doing there own thing, or directing their own life or doing their own will! Everyone MUST do the whole will of God.

Matthew 7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. 22 "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' 23 "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'

Even if we are functioning in a church or religious setting and even if we are in “ministry”, we will be eliminated from the Kingdom unless what we “DO” is the will of God. ANYTHING ELSE is considered as “Lawlessness.” “Depart from Me” appears to be final.

But, brother, we are already “saved.” That may be true from the earth viewpoint but from God’s viewpoint and from the Kingdom and from the heights of Zion, you might be in serious trouble!

We see the visible evidence of that “BIG I” and the “independent” confusion very clearly in the visible church and even in the ministries! All those numerous and varied independent lives, ideas, individual autonomy and diverse opinions is what has reduced the visible church down to a common religion. To keep order, the Pastor must be the biggest of the “BIG MAN” authorities just to guide the group and o make decisions for the group.

However, the Lampstand Church is “hammered” out of ONE PIECE OF GOLD! Every one who will participate in the “One Piece, perfected, Lampstand Church” will ALL have the same Life, ZOE! No “wood” or independent persons, with their own lives, plans, goals, or ideas can possible participate!

So, brother, if Zion is so radical and such an impossible “mountain” for the average believer to ascend, share with us the sequence of the “Way to Zion.”

We, we have already presented fact number one! No one can function in the Kingdom nor in Zion as an independent member. No one can function by their own will. There is no better plan or better program that is acceptable. No new ideas are needed. No other opinion is even considered as valid. ALL Authority has already been given to Christ Jesus so the highest position is already filled. God has already set HIS KING on Zion. He will make ALL DECISIONS from now on and is not accepting those who offer to be advisors or fiscal planners.

Our best hope of participating is functioning under His Authority and doing His Will. If we are given “assigned authority,” that is ONLY in carrying out His Will. Why? The Kingdom of Heaven is absolute Government and the Principles of that Kingdom are already ruling! No other new ideas or opinions or better systems are needed.

Daniel 7:27 And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heavens shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions shall serve and obey Him.

Even the Kingdom (assigned to the saints) can never act independently! Why? That is because all the dominions shall serve and obey Him. It is during the church age that we are learning these things and we are given the opportunity to adjust our lives to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood. This is the primary priority for each believer during this church age! This priority revolves around the Kingdom Government of God!

The past centuries, the “church’s” priority of adjusting to the Kingdom Life has begun very slowly or not at all! However, we expect a rapid speeding up of this Kingdom priority and the preparation process. Why” That is because we think it is now time to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom to every nation. However, some will participate and some will not! Those who insist upon keeping their old life and the “big I” will not be interested nor will they participate.

If just the reality of water Baptism is not experiential death, burial and resurrection, no “Life change can be expected” and no other foundation for the Kingdom is valid.

Matthew 24:14 "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come.

The valid question is this; Will the end of this age come BEFORE the Gospel of the Kingdom is preached and give the opportunity for every nation to hear and make a serious decision to participate? Of course not!

Then, brother, can you show us a simple, easy to understand graphic of the process of functioning in the Kingdom and ascending up to Zion? Maybe!

In the Beginning of our Christian life; the number ONE person in all things is “ME”! That includes “MY” life and “MY” benefits. It revolves around “My” Family and “My” finances. “I” must plan for “MY” retirement and future well being. That includes “MY” Security and “MY” destiny. In other words; Even “MY” priorities and “MY” SALVATION must not interfere with the “BIG ME.”

Therefore since “I” am number ONE, Christ must accept the number two position. God’s will is very important, if His will is to bless “ME.” This was the hallmark of the Prosperity Movement! Even when inviting Christ, the Living and Abiding Word of God, to indwell “ME”, He is certainly welcome, but “I” must remain as still #1.

The Next sequence is the Holy Spirit is invited to become an indwelling reality. He is welcome to come and baptized “ME” but “I” must remain as still #1.

Next, we invite the Kingdom to come to rule my life, but “I” am still #1.

Next, we anticipate the Inner Government and His Laws to begin but “I” am still #1.

Next, as His Absolute Laws have come and become a conscious reality. I freely acknowledge His Laws and His right to rule, but “I” am still # 1.

Next, I have even agreed to Live by His Life but “I” must insist upon maintaining “MY” status of being still #1. After all, this is MY LIFE!

Now, if you can SEE yourself and the “BIG I” you will understand that, Yes, we all must “accept the Kingdom” but these “strange demands” must surrender to “MY” will and they must accept “MY” conditions (of the “BIG I”) as the #1 priority!

Up until this time, the Kingdom and its demands are learned but they are just received as good doctrine that we all sincerely believe! The problem is this; the “BIG ME” is still in control and “I” am still #1. However, now I can SEE the Kingdom as a distant possibility!

That is why “seeing the Kingdom” is much different from “entering the Kingdom.” Those who enter must enter through this exchange of Life. Why? Only one LIFE, one Will and ONE WAY can function in the Absolute Kingdom Government of God. Why?

No other contrary will or way is acceptable in the Kingdom Government of God that is Established upon Mount Zion. Most everywhere we go, we see that this critical situation still exists which is a group of the “BIG I’s” who all want to be #1 gathering together and calling that church.

This can, also, be seen in about any group we can find that claim they are Christian. From the Pastor to the Janitor everyone is still #1, at least in their own self assurance. Everyone still just attends church to see how “I” can benefit because “I” am #1. “My” first priority is to go to heaven when “I” die.

In some groups some “I’s”are only seeking Christian Friendship and most “I’s” cannot be bothered with Christian Fellowship. In these groups, “My” only contribution is limited to “MY” attendance in the meetings.

If the “BIG I” attends a Christian Group on Sunday, that qualifies the “BIG ME” to be called “Christian.” To be called “Christian” entitles “ME” to all the benefits and promises of God.

Some of us here in Ohio believe that “in our area” the problem can ONLY be solved by preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom until there is a “small” group that completes the consecration offering but with the correct motive and intension. That means;

"Gather My godly ones to Me, Those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice."

That “sacrifice” being the sacrifice of “MYSELF”, the “Big I,” the BIG ME” and “MY OLD LIFE” so “I” no longer live but that “Christ lives in me.”

Colossians 3:1 If then you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. 3 For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.

The Right Hand of God can be identified as Mount Zion! “Christ, who is our life” is the priority exchange that must take place by that Consecration Offering and must result in a personal experience, which follows! If the “BIG I” and the priority of the “BIG ME” has not submitted to the EXCHANGE of my life for His Life, the Consecration Offering is still just a “GOOD DOCTRINE!

“My” theory is that until this “transition into the New Life” has taken place, in each of our lives, experientially, that the Kingdom Government of God, as a living reality is still just “doctrinal.” It is not until the governing dominance of the Kingdom and its Laws become experiential that we have consciously “entered the Kingdom.” Up until THEN it is just the doctrine of the Kingdom that tries to substitute for the LIFE and Government of the Kingdom. This is the actual reality of what we see in most places we visit. Still, I am wondering if that “Eternal Government of GOD” is really experiential in “MY” life!

The complaint we generally hear is this; But brother, if I no longer live, that would mean that I will lose my total identity and then, who am “I”?

THAT, my friends, is the big objection to the Kingdom, the Government, to the Mountain of Zion and to the throne of God. That is the main objection to the ONE NEW MAN because THAT ONE NEW MAN is Christ Jesus, Head and Body! For us to ascend up Mount Zion, we MUST be IN CHRIST! Why? That place is the everlasting burnings and our God, the God of Zion, is a consuming fire!

The Unity of Zion is not that complicated if we just understand that ONENESS is by HIS LIFE and not by a universal doctrine that we can all accept! This ONENESS OF LIFE simply requires that EVERYONE who will participate in John 17 will surrender their personal life through a “Covenant of Sacrifice” so THEY all share the exact same LIFE, ZOE!

John 17:20 "I do not ask in behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; 21 that they may all be one; even as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be in Us; that the world may believe that Thou didst send Me. 22 "And the glory which Thou hast given Me I have given to them; that they may be one, just as We are one; 23 I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, that the world may know that Thou didst send Me, and didst love them, even as Thou didst love Me. 24 "Father, I desire that they also, whom Thou hast given Me, be with Me where I am, in order that they may behold My glory, which Thou hast given Me; for Thou didst love Me before the foundation of the world.

To be with Him, WHERE HE IS, can only be on Mount Zion. That they may be one, just as We are one; I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, THIS IS THE WAY TO ZION!

This ONENESS and THIS UNITY is NOT by all churches, that have been separated from the Mother Church in Rome, returning to become one world church, so the world will know, has NOTHING to do with this UNITY AND ONENESS of John 17. Jesus is NOT praying for everyone to bring their life and allegiance under one Pope but to one King and His Kingdom. To surrender the life of first Adam to receive the Resurrection Life of the Last Adam may seem like an unreasonable Sacrifice to some but to those WHO HAVE INSIGHT this is only reasonable. To those who seek the Kingdom and Mount Zion, entering into this Eternal Covenant is the easiest possible requirement. However, to those who want to protect the “BIG I” and retain their single identity in their old life, this is much too radical.

Rejecting EVERYTHING that interferes with joining the One New Man and accepting the ONE NEW LIFE and the ONE NEW HEAD , governing the ONE NEW BODY, IS an exciting NEW POSSIBILITY.

“Gather My godly ones to Me” are not a group of individual “BIG I’s” who still want “salvation” but by establishing their own conditions. Yes! I will accept salvation but only if “I” can remain #1.

If we ALL must sacrifice our own life and individual identity and accept ONE NEW LIFE common to ALL, that becomes a universal stumbling block. The “stumbling block” is called The Kingdom and the ONE NEW MAN or Mount Zion, on the sides of the North.

Jesus prayed; That they may be one, just as We are one; 23 I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be perfected in unity!

If I am interpreting this correctly, coming to PERFECTION is the result of this unity! I in them, and Thou in Me, is the method God uses to complete His Eternal Purpose of having a Kingdom of Priests. Now I will add my own opinion; AFTER THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK means ALL having the exact SAME LIFE. That means the Father, The Word, the Holy Spirit and the Eternal Priesthood, ONE LIFE!

Heb 7:15 And this is clearer still, if another priest arises according to the likeness of Melchizedek, 16 who has become such not on the basis of a law of physical requirement, but according to the power of an indestructible life.
