The Exalted ChristReturns to the FatherThe Exalted Man

The Superiority of Christ Jesus Over ALL former Things.

Much Higher Than the Angels And Holds Equality With God

High Priest And The Mediator of a Better Covenant

March 30, 2014 Consecration And the Priesthood After the Order of Melchizedek.

Over the last 44 years we have written many, many studies, preached many, many messages, done countless conferences and talked with hundreds of ministers and leaders. Still, after all this "exposure" to the religious scene, I have lacked a clear understanding of who Jesus, the Man, really is in the Eternal Plan of God. That means "THE ETERNAL MAN, CHRIST JESUS!"

In 1954 I started reading the Bible from a "Christian"– religious– philosophical viewpoint. My wife and I got involved in Christian Science and read the Bible along with Science and Heath with Key to the Scriptures for fifteen and one half years. We attended several lectures by renown speakers and we did all the required stuff like serving the church etc.

In all that time we actually understood nothing that was relevant to God or to His Eternal Plan. On March 2, 1970 I was born again according to what we understood concerning standard church doctrine. At that time I began to read the Bible again but everything was still confusing. Forty five days later I received the Holy Spirit. Seven years later my wife and I purchased the new building that housed the Christian Science Church and began holding public, Charismatic meetings on July 4,1977.

At that time I preached repentance from dead works, faith toward God, forgiveness of sins, baptism in water and baptism in the Holy Spirit. Much of what we shared was from Watchman Nee, Kenneth Hagin and Derek Prince. In 1973 I was given a book by DeVern Fromke that focused upon a much larger viewpoint of God's Purpose. We shared what we heard from others and the numbers assembled on Sunday grew until in 1985 when we sold that building and bought an office building that had two larger rooms and several offices that we used for Sunday School rooms and there were more parking spaces. We installed a home made baptism tank and baptized new believers and old believers who questioned their baptism.

All this time I was working nine hours a day, five and one half days per week in our business. I had to rise early to read the bible, "pray" and prepare "messages." All this was done within a religious order that I had been taught by other ministers was how we did "the ministry."

It seemed like ages before I developed a clearer insight into who we really are and who we desperately hoped to become. The distance between these two points seemed to grow larger year after year. No tape, book or message could define what we recognized as areas of our actual unredeemed condition. Then after reading the Book of Romans many, many times, Romans chapter 1 to chapter 3 began to bring more insight into our miserable condition and the defective and corrupt areas in us that God had to work with to complete His Eternal Plan in us. Romans 1 and 3 reveals God's evaluation of man's actual condition from God's viewpoint.

In reference to my Romans one condition it appeared to me that we ALL start out within

this total disapproval by God. From God's viewpoint it seems that His evaluation of mankind is universal and applies to all men everywhere. If that is true then that condemnation applied to me. When I was honest with myself, I understood that many things about my life was still corrupted. I certainly knew my sins were forgiven but my sin nature still existed.

In 1970 my sins were forgiven and I was baptized in water and received the Holy Spirit. I spoke in tongues and prophesied and saw the sick healed. Nevertheless, there were many areas of my life that could not qualify as being fully Christian. However, I did understand that I could begin the Christian life ( because of forgiveness) and begin the process of transformation that little by little would change me from what I was to what He is. When I shared this "distinction" between forgiveness and the full Christian Life it suddenly began to conflict with some church doctrines. Even though there was much criticism, I rejected that because I accepted what was the reality in my life about these things.

One of the criticisms of this "concept" is that it is preached that the moment our sins are forgiven we are made perfect in Christ. Regardless of how rotten we live, God does not see our sin because we are hidden "in Christ" and now God only sees Christ and Christ becomes our righteousness. It is assumed that we will never have any righteousness of our own and we must continually trust only in His righteousness. The problem came when I read the Bible and saw so many scriptures that exposed that doctrine as far too shallow to include us in the Kingdom or in God's Eternal Purpose.

Standard church doctrine assumes Romans 1 and 3 only speaks about the "unsaved." Now I understood that this also defines the condition of the new Christian! It speaks with such eloquence and precision that I began to understand it was speaking about me. Forgiveness of sins is one thing but our fallen condition (character, attitudes, disposition) became a major concern. Why? This was NOT my doubt about the reality of forgiveness of sins and "salvation" but about my being prepared to participate in God's Eternal Purpose? Now, after some years, I understand that God was revealing our need of INNER PREPARATION for His Eternal Purpose!

It became clear that Romans 1 was not the general opinion of some weird church group but was the Word of God for me. It offered NO excuse or silly doctrine that covered my corrupt condition. There were no series of church cliches and doctrinal correctness that could convince me all this was canceled out when I was forgiven. Suddenly, I saw the severe and difficult road ahead and the race set before us if we were ever going to arrive at God's predestined end. This has been my basic message ever since which infuriates the "saved and satisfied" that hold to doctrines rather than Life experiences.

I shared that to introduce you to this next dimension of the tremendous work God must still do in usto bring us to His Eternal Purpose. This "work" is related to His Eternal Priesthood and the Kingdom of Priests. Of course, all this understanding is still in the primary stages of experiential adjustments and eternal development. Since this must be seen from another viewpoint, I want to use the Book of Hebrews to attempt to explain how God brings us to the reality of eternity and what He has predestined for us to meet HIS NEED within the current church age to prepare a people to function in HIS eternity.

To accomplish that I want to share, rather simply and possibly shallowly from the Book of Hebrews itself. I will focus first upon its history and its source of deeper truth. Why? That is because of a wide spread misunderstanding about the importance of this Book in the Eternal Scheme of things. We are really NOT concerned about its history but about its revelation of Eternal Truth!

The Book of Hebrews is quite unique and in many ways different from any other Book of the Bible. Because of this I think it should hold a special place in our development and understanding of God's Predestined End. If this Divine Inspiration rewards us with its subtle and insightful understanding we will have touched an eternal treasure. As with all revelation, there is mystery behind the words that is beyond any of us to share with others. In other words the Personal Revelation given to us is just that, extremely personal. This is one of the mystery "foods" that touches, sustains and feeds our new inner man.

It appears now that no other book will point out our failures or lack of understanding or our need of seeking out these eternal Truths like this Book. No other Book vehemently insist upon the maturity that is the result of having all the "Foundations" within our actual experience, than this book. Why is that true? This is simply because the New Inner Man MUST be developed before we can comprehend the revelation behind the black words on white paper. The real revelation behind the black words are explained by the Spirit of the Living Word.

For example; Let us just take one theme; The Superiority of Christ over every other thing that precedes Him. We can know that as another Christian Cliche, we can teach that as a doctrine or present it as a Bible fact without having any revelation and with no inner knowledge of what that means. That serious lack of inner understanding will not prevent us from preaching this eternal truth as a "message on Sunday." Just consider how irrelevant that "message"becomes in its "letter" stage. Still, that preacher will insist that he is preaching the Word of God and is faithful to the Bible text. Nevertheless, the eloquent and exquisite secrets contained in this Book are ignored because of the lack of revelation. The degree of "revelation" received is related to the maturity of the New Inner Man. Why? This revelation is ONLY received by the New Inner Man and not designed for intellectual understanding.

In other words, I may conclude that, after attending hundreds of irrelevant meetings, the gathering together of the saints may have been " a good meeting" but if no Spirit or Life was released, within the Eternal Scheme of things, it became irrelevant. Why? It just did NOT prepare the saints for God's purpose of participating in God's Eternal Government or to function in His Kingdom.

The reason I mention that is because I did hundreds of meetings like that and I sat through hundreds of conferences like that. The fact is I am not interested in attending any more "meetings" like that! I heard someone say that as Christians we only have to sit though so many meetings like that to complete our quota and I all ready did that. We did not forsake the assembling of ourselves together in the lifeless and religious desert of preaching empty words and mulling over irrelevant concepts. The natural man in the pulpit is what we are referring to as a religious desert.

Let us explain, because "meetings like that" are really not proper for Christian Assembling together and certainly not effective ministry! Some of this " desert / wilderness ministry" has resulted in some tragic books and CD's that are presented as "cutting edge" understanding. For example:

In the Book of Hebrews we learn that Melchizedek had no father, no mother, no genealogy, no beginning of days and no end of life and holds His Priesthood forever. This is firmly stated and quite clear. Nevertheless, there are a few books written by men that discovered when he was born, who his father was and some of the persons in his genealogy. We can expect that one day some person, preaching out of desert dryness and attempting to establish a ministry, will discover Melchizedek's tomb and find a hieroglyphic that confirms that Melchizedek was buried there.

There are some well known fundamentalists that boldly say the Book of Hebrews was ONLY written to the Hebrews and is not for the church. Nevertheless, even a casual reading of this Book would confirm that statement is ridiculous but that doesn't stop people from promoting that deceptive concept from the pulpit.

However, this is logical "wilderness thinking" which confirms that since this "Melchizedek fellow" met Abraham as he was returning from the slaughter of the kings, it is certain he must have been born and died so he must have had a father and mother so we should search out his genealogy. Why? Because, obviously his genealogy was lost. But why does this stupidity persist? That is because the Adam ( the unredeemed old inner man) person can understand NOTHING from this realm but insists upon assuming a logical concept must be presented to cover this strange verse. This lack of a deeper Biblical understanding is not even considered shameful or even important.

Now, this same irrelevant logic inspires men to spend years searching out who wrote the Book of Hebrews. Obviously, God has insisted upon concealing any mention of an author. Still, scholars have discovered that Timothy is still alive and is mentioned so Paul must have written it. It was written before 70 AD when the Temple was destroyed but before Timothy died so we "know" it was written between 64 and 68 AD.

In fact, I also thought Paul wrote it and declared that while preaching many times. However, after some systematic study I discovered that this Book is entirely unique and is not written like the other books of the Bible. Even the Greek Scholars recognize that the Greek used is much more sophisticated than other writings and since Paul was Hebrew, his Greek was not as polished as this. The quotes from the Old Testament are not from the Jewish Bible but from the Greek translation of the Old Testament. (Septuagint)

Finally I have guessed that all this speculation is irrelevant and we must focus upon WHAT is said rather than WHO said it. I prefer to insist that the Holy Spirit wrote it simply because of the revelation contained in its verses. I am not denying that some person held the pen or that the Christian Hebrews, to whom it was written, knew who wrote it. Nevertheless, the depth of its contents reveals a higher revelation of God's Master Plan than is found in other books of the Bible. Therefore, we will assume that the Writer was the Holy Spirit revealing something directly from the Living and Abiding Word of God to someone that had the boldness to record the understanding.

This is just my opinion, but after consulting with myself I find I am unanimous.

What possible concern could it be for us if the Hebrews fled and lived in Italy or some other place or what was the spiritual vision of these people. The TRUTH in the Book of Hebrews transcends every other condition, culture or vision. The five strong warnings given in this Book were not just for the Hebrews but were for every generation of Christians in every age. Therefore, to dismiss these warnings as cultural or limited to the unsaved or just for the Hebrews misses the whole point in what is addressed in this Book. Why? That is because of its eternal nature. Mount Zion and the New Jerusalem cannot be limited to a certain earthy time or human condition. Without Holiness no man shall see the Lord is universal Truth in any age.

How can our great High Priest, mediating a New Covenant with the better promises, be confined to a specific people and not for every Christian in every age? Why would the understanding about the Superiority of Christ over every other religious thing be confined to a certain people. To focus upon the word "Hebrews" to discredit its ultimate revelation is just stupid. To insist that Christ is the current High Priest for the Jews but not for Christians is beyond reason. To even insist upon a distinction between these "two groups" of believers appears to be remarkable in the light of scripture. God clearly reveals He will make the two into one new man. This division of Jewish and Gentile believers is silly.

Col 3:9 Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self with its evil practices, 10 and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him 11 --a renewal in which there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and freeman, but Christ is all, and in all.

Rom 2:28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly; neither is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. 29 But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter; and his praise is not from men, but from God.

Christ Jesus is our Eternal High Priest from the time He ascended to the Right Hand of God and He is the Great High Priest throughout all Eternity. He IS GOD of the new species called "Christian." We are NOT referring to the Almighty God who created all things but to the Son of God and the first born of the new species, He is "GOD" to all that species.

Heb 1:8 But of the Son He says, "THY THRONE, O GOD, IS FOREVER AND EVER, AND THE RIGHTEOUS SCEPTER IS THE SCEPTER OF HIS KINGDOM. 9 "THOU HAST LOVED RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HATED LAWLESSNESS; THEREFORE GOD, THY GOD, HATH ANOINTED THEE WITH THE OIL OF GLADNESS ABOVE THY COMPANIONS."

It should not require much discernment to distinguish between the Son who is God and "GOD THY GOD" who has anointed His Son above His Companions.

Heb 1:1 God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, 2 in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. 3 And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4 having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they. 5 For to which of the angels did He ever say, "THOU ART MY SON, TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN THEE"? And again, "I WILL BE A FATHER TO HIM AND HE SHALL BE A SON TO ME"?

There is unmistakable truth that God is the Ultimate Father of Christ Jesus' and Christ Jesus is His Begotten SON. It is clear that now the SON has taken His Seat at the Right Hand of His Father. Just logic should tell us that God, if He is One, cannot sit at His own Right Hand.

Let this be first established that there is Father and Son now on the Throne in Heaven. Let us also be clear that God, Almighty, is Father, Word and Holy Spirit. Another remarkable thing is that God, the Almighty, is also referred to as The Father. As the Ultimate Creator He is its Father. Christ Jesus is also called the Eternal Father.

(JFB commentary) Made the worlds - [the worlds– plural.] Literally, "ages" with all things and persons belonging to them; the universe, including all space and ages of time, and all material and spiritual existence. The Greek implies, He not only appointed His Son heir of all things before creation, but He also (better than "also He") made by Him the worlds.

Col 1:16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things have been created by Him and for Him.

Isa 9:6 For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. 7 There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this.

Is Jesus now Mighty God and Eternal Father? Certainly! Is He the Almighty God or is The Almighty God His Father? It seems clear that the Almighty God is "God, thy God" or the God of our Lord Christ Jesus. It is also clear that Christ Jesus is now God and Father of another realm, a kingdom and a government that is "From then on and forevermore".

However, let us be clear about this fact also because God's Ultimate Plan includes these OTHER "Sons of God." It is these "SONS" that we will focus upon later in these documents. However, the Ultimate Son is the subject of this document because He IS the Prototype Son.

Heb 2:10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to perfect the author of their salvation through sufferings.

One translation I read has incorrectly changed many SONS to "many children" which I think misses the point. Our focus is always upon the "Harvest Maturity" of the Sons. That means SONS ready for the final Harvest. Children refers to those in the undeveloped stages of Christian Maturity.

We may be confronted with the question of why we would prepare a document on the Superiority of Christ. One reason is because He is the Prototype Son, another is that we are to grow up in all things into Christ. Another reason might be so we never feel like we have "arrived" and just waiting for Jesus to come and drag us over Jordan into the promised land. Another might be so we can develop our "END OF LIFE PHILOSOPHY." Another potent reason could be so that we never fall into some religious nonsense about Him that conflicts with His eternal position as our Great High Priest.

Since this is rather difficult to fully document and because this understanding is so essential, I will try to put things into an invisible index of certain facts. For Example He is Defined by His Person and He is Defined by His Work. He is defined by His Faithfulness to the Father and His faithfulness to humanity. He was "perfected" by the things which He suffered. He was tempted in all things like us. There is BOTH the doctrine of Christ which we learn and there is the Discipline of Christ / Father which we must endure IF we are to become sons of God. There are hundreds of facts like these so that IF we could assemble and record them, they would be both revealing and overwhelming because of their magnitude. Of course all of these things are not half of what ought to be recorded about our Great High Priest, first His Person and then His "Eternal" Work.

It is because of the shocking neglect of understanding and clear preaching about Our Great High Priest that we will focus more upon the Person and His Holy and Most Holy Place function. Also, since this document will emphasize Sonship we will add some thoughts about the Functioning Body of the High Priest. The focus has been upon Him as Savior or as our Baptizer in the Holy Spirit or as our Healer or as our "COMING" King but His current function as our active and functioning High Priest is nearly ignored.

This "High King / Priest" is His position and whom He is Today! In other words, even though He is Savior, He is not seated on the Father's Right hand just as Savior. He is now functioning and RULING as our Great High Priest, who is the King Priest after the Order of Melchizedek. Melchizedek was / is totally unique being both a King and a Priest forever. Then is Jesus still Savior, healer and baptizer in the Holy Spirit? Yes! But He is carrying out this function as our Great High Priest after the Order of Melchizedek and He is BOTH Priest and King. (Not our "someday" Priest or coming King)

It is for that reason that we MUST NOT take these understandings and goals as optional within the Gospel of the Kingdom. Why? The Kingdom reveals and insists that He IS the Revelation of the Ultimate Priest / King! Why? God has ordained that "MAN" should rule over the work of His hands! That Corporate "One New Man" is CHRIST! The "Man" who is HEAD of this Government is Jesus. Jesus is the First Born and, therefore, the recipient of the full inheritance, and He will bring the MANY SONS to glory. It is these "many sons" who will form the body of the High Priest and administrate His Kingdom.

It is in this Kingdom Dimension that there becomes a gap and distinction between the "children" who are "saved" and the "sons" who endure the discipline and are matured by it. It is the "sons, who have completed their calling and maturity during the church age, that will see His Face.

Heb 12:4 You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood in your striving against sin; 5 and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons, "MY SON, DO NOT REGARD LIGHTLY THE DISCIPLINE OF THE LORD, NOR FAINT WHEN YOU ARE REPROVED BY HIM; 6 FOR THOSE WHOM THE LORD LOVES HE DISCIPLINES, AND HE SCOURGES EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVES." 7 It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline?

Heb 12:8 But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. 9 Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live? 10 For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, that we may share His holiness. 11 All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.

Heb 12:12 Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble, 13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed. 14 Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord.

As we pointed out before in another document, there seems to be two kinds of everything.

It is here that we should recognize the Two Kinds of Gospel. One is for children and one is for sons. One deals with forgiveness of sins and one deals with "seeing His face."

Rev 22:3 And there shall no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His bond-servants shall serve Him; 4 and they shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.

While we don't have the time or space to speak about the "bondservants" "that see His face," we should point out that several translations misinterpret this world "DOULOS" as "servant" instead of "Bond– Servant. Servant is the word "DIAKONOS" from which we get the word "deacon." In Romans 1:1 Paul was introducing himself to the church NOT as their servant (deacon) but as a Bondservant of Christ Jesus.

Rom 1:1 Paul, a bond-servant of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God.

There is a relationship between Consecration, becoming a Bond-servant and "seeing His face." There is a relationship between being a Priest after the Order of Melchizedek and becoming a member of the body of our High Priest.

Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must shortly take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John.

There is a relationship between His Bond-servants and the Revelation of Jesus Christ.

Since there are 13 references in the New Testament concerning the bond-servants it would be good if we understood the "doctrine of the bond-servants." This is an area of consecration that will become very important later in these studies on the Priesthood of the New Inner Man.

We should be clear that the priesthood of the outer man, after the order of Aaron, has been totally discarded because it could not perfect anyone. In other words, the outer man (or outer woman) functioning in ministry has departed from the New Covenant revelation of this higher Priesthood.

Is it any wonder that functioning in this Royal Priesthood is ignored in many groups simply because they cannot qualify? In the Church HE is Building, carnal ministry by the natural man is forbidden, rejected and condemned. How do we know that? That is because there is NO WOOD in the Lampstand Church which is PURE GOLD. The Church is NOT wood overlaid by Gold so the outer natural man is excluded. ONLY the New Inner Man can be included.

It order to better understand our Great High Priest it is essential to see His superiority over so many of the former things. The Book of Hebrews has no greeting or salutation but immediately begins with Christ's superiority and His supremacy over the prophets and their message but now God speaks directly in His Son. This Son has been appointed as the heir of ALL things. Not only that but He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature. Now Calvary is introduced to begin the grand picture. "When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high." He not only is the Heir but now He has gained the Highest position for man in the universe. The Right Hand of God, Almighty.

In the beginning of His processing He was made Lower than the Angels but now He

has become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they. He not only inherited All things but now has inherited a more excellent name that any of the angels. For to which of the angels did He ever say, "THOU ART MY SON, TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN THEE"? And again, "I WILL BE A FATHER TO HIM AND HE SHALL BE A SON TO ME"? This is further emphasized by the fact that He, God, says, "AND LET ALL THE ANGELS OF GOD WORSHIP HIM."

The angels have a high position in the things of God and He says, "WHO MAKES HIS ANGELS WINDS, AND HIS MINISTERS A FLAME OF FIRE."

But of the Son, Almighty God Says, "THY THRONE, O GOD, IS FOREVER AND EVER, AND THE RIGHTEOUS SCEPTER IS THE SCEPTER OF HIS KINGDOM. Now the Son has been given the "SCEPTER OF HIS KINGDOM." This reveals that the Son now has the ultimate authority over His Kingdom, the Kingdom of the Son.

Col 1:13 For He delivered us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,

Mat 13:41 "The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness----,

It is verses like these that should alter the end time philosophy of many ministries that strongly suggest that ALL believers will be caught up when Jesus comes. It is nearly criminal to tell those believers who are just "stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness" that just because they believe "in Jesus" that they will be caught up to the Throne of God. Some of the really ignorant declare that simply by faith many will be caught up from the brothels when Jesus comes.

The warning is this; Mat 13:42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire; in that place there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 "Then THE RIGHTEOUS WILL SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

The "eternal security" of "stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness" is very tentative. Why is this so vivid in scripture? That is because these human traits are not acceptable in the Kingdom of the Son. These are the traits I mentioned in the first part of this study. Forgiveness of sins is very important but getting rid of EVERYTHING that is unacceptable in the Kingdom is also important and an integral part of the Gospel of the Kingdom message. To boldly claim that there are no stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness in the visible church is ridiculous. We even see these persons in the pulpit.

It is revealed that Christ Jesus has a much Higher status than Moses. Moses was faithful as a servant in his house but Jesus was faithful as a Son over His house. Both men were "faithful" but Jesus was faithful in a much higher realm, even as the Builder of His house, US, if we hold fast our confidence and the boast of our hope firm until the end.

Heb 3:1 Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of our confession. 2 He was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was in all His house. 3 For He has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, by just so much as the builder of the house has more honor than the house. 4 For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God. 5 Now Moses was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken later; 6 but Christ was faithful as a Son over His house whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the boast of our hope firm until the end.

The Focus of this document will focus upon Christ's Superiority as High Priest in the heavenly realm over Aaron, who was High Priest in the dirt realm. In another document we will look at these two dimensions of priesthood and why the lesser priesthood was abandoned and no longer exists. Why spend time on this subject? That is because too many "ministries" are based upon the priesthood of Aaron and ignore the Priesthood after the Order of Melchizedek. Hopefully, no one who reads this document will attempt to become a priest / minister as a member of the body of Aaron or after that earthly order.

Heb 5:1 For every high priest taken from among men is appointed on behalf of men in things pertaining to God, in order to offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins;

Both of these Priests were ordained to function in the realm of forgiveness of sins. However, Christ Jesus was chosen by God because He is God's Son and He has been appointed as the Great High Priest FOREVER. He did NOT inherit this high position because of genealogy but because of His Perfection and faithfulness.

Aaron, even though he was high priest, he had many problems, rebellion, was misguided and had serious failures. However, Christ was a Priest of God who was made perfect forever.

As we list these distinctions it should be clear that Christ Jesus is fully qualified to hold His Priesthood forever. The "many sons," which He will bring to ultimate glory, will have to go through tremendous changes to qualify as sons / members of the High Priest. Some of this wonderful work is accomplished through the seven experiential foundations.
