#456 Kingdom: Eliminating The Veils Over The New Covenant.

The last four studies, that focused upon the Reality of the Kingdom that is tied directly with the reality of the New Covenant, have created many questions. This problem occurs because when I share these things I try to focus ONLY upon the overview and leave the details to those who read the studies.

I used to paint scenes on canvas with artists colors. I nearly always used a large brush (a two or three inch) and painted in large strokes. If there were “details” they were mostly accidents and not added with a small brush. Other people only paint with small brushes using small detailed strokes.

These “overviews” were not intended to give details or explain intricate things. If someone shares these “concepts” they must originate the details themselves. Therefore, there are sometimes more questions than answers in these studies. However, I have been asked to enlarge upon the twelve basic provisions of the New Covenant that I listed, rather abstractly, in one of the studies. Of course there are MANY more provisions than the twelve I listed because within each of these provisions there are several sub-benefits that are provided in the New Covenant.

For example; the actual reality of experiencing and then manifesting the New Covenant results in many different manifestations that were seen as normal in the Book of Acts. A universal question today is this; “Why don’t we see the manifestations of the Holy Spirit and miracles today that they saw in the Book of Acts?” The answer is quite simple; “because ALL they had was the Promise of the Father and the provision of the New Covenant and that produced the miracles.” Today we have too many man made substitutes!

In order to magnify this reality let us examine what Jesus actually left with His disciples when He went away. He did not leave them (1) Any buildings (2) No Sunday school material (3) No New Testament (4) No books (5) No Tapes or CDs (6) No Bible Schools or Seminaries (7) No Missionary Societies to raise funds to send them into all the world or monthly support.

Then exactly what did Jesus leave them that was supposed to provide for ALL their needs? This is VERY clear! What He left was THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER! This is what was needed to take the Gospel of the Kingdom to the whole world. What was the name we have for this provision today? The New Covenant! What does that supply today? REALITY! TRUTH! EXPERIENCE! PROVISION! CONTINUOUS SUPPLY! A NEW LIFE WITHIN!

The Book of Hebrews tells us that nothing that came before was able to bring to perfection. So what was introduced that COULD bring the saints to perfection? The Promise of the Father.

What IS the Promise of the Father? The New Covenant; Pentecost; The New Spirit (the Spirit of Christ; The Living and Abiding Word of God) and the Holy Spirit to live within us; The Laws of God written upon us and put within us; The teacher living within us; The One in us who will lead us into ALL truth, The Revelator living within; Another Comforter to be with us forever; The One who will cause us to walk in His ways from within us; To begin a completely different Priesthood after the Order of Melchizedek; The Government of God to be within us; To have the same measure of the Holy Spirit that was in and upon Jesus; To have the same Word in our mouth that was in Jesus’ mouth; To be no longer limited to live by the flesh; To receive the ability to live and move in the Spirit; To at last to be free from the Law of Sin and Death; To at last be led by the Holy Spirit and to grow up and function as the sons of God. These are a few of the things provided by the Promise of the Father that is revealed in the New Covenant and spoken by Jesus before He went away.

But didn’t Jesus just focus upon the Kingdom of God for forty days before He ascended? Yes! Then why is the Promise of the Father and the New Covenant so important? Because, in Matthew 5-6 & 7 He explained the demands of the Kingdom that were impossible for the natural man to meet. Therefore, it was the Promise of the Father, unveiled in the New Covenant, that supplied the ability to preach and to live out the reality of the Kingdom of God that is to be in us!

What we see in the history of the early church and the signs, wonders, miracles, the healings and the ability to become martyrs is ALL provided within the Promise of the Father which is set forth, in part, by the New Covenant! When we experientially live in the “New Covenant Reality” it takes the “provision” out of the “maybe stage” and places it in the absolute stage of COVENANT and not just as a “promise” that some MIGHT receive for a short time. The Blood of the “Everlasting Covenant” sets the time limit.

As long as the early church functioned according to the New Covenant and the Promise of the Father all the miracles were normal, but when did that change? When the “elders and bishops” decided upon the cannon of scripture and determined what would be the “Book of the New Testament.” Then the “book” became the new law of God and they no longer needed these laws on the inside because they had them written down on the outside. Instead of the Law of Moses they now had the Law of the New Testament to guide them and teach them. Because the “teaching of the new law” could now be assigned to the natural man, who was learned in scripture, the doctrines began to vary and the conflict that resulted caused divisions and then more controversy over methods of holding “church” brought separation of the “church” into diverse groups. Today these are called denominations!

Soon, the Promise of the Father and the New Covenant was thought to be just for the early church! This “church system” was the result of man’s cleaver ideas and human planning. However, this “church system”, which CANNOT bring the church to perfection, was the “fruit.” Therefore, the natural man has produced a new doctrine that says that “perfection is impossible” and that “perfection” was only presented as an ideal and not as something expected in the church. Therefore, growing up and coming to perfection is something the lunatic fringe of radicals share out of their ignorance of scripture. For evidence just look around. Can’t you see, there are none who are perfect and that we all fall short of the grace and glory of God is the visible proof!

Then are you saying that simply because the “visible church” has ignored or rejected the Promise of the Father and the New Covenant provision that we are in this pitiful condition today? Yes! But isn’t that too harsh? Only if you don’t read the scripture and are ignorant of the Pure Gold Lampstand Church and the One who is walking amongst the Lampstands and reject what He is saying to them! But doesn’t His grace cover their defects? No! But where is His mercy? He vomits them out of His Body. Why? Because the High Priest CANNOT have defects in His body and still set out the Bread of God. If He permits these “defective Christians to remain in His body” He cannot set out the Bread of John 6 and multitudes will be prevented from fulfilling God’s purpose for their lives. That IS His grace and mercy to provide for those who are willing to go on with God.

The fact that there are still two covenants (Old and New) attempting to live in the same house has escaped the notice of much of the church in general. These two Covenants “are two women” which doesn’t make much sense so it is ignored.

Gal 4:22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the bondwoman and one by the free woman. 23 But the son by the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and the son by the free woman through the promise. 24 This is allegorically speaking: for these women are two covenants, one proceeding from Mount Sinai bearing children who are to be slaves; she is Hagar. 25 Now this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to the present Jerusalem, for she is in slavery with her children. 26 But the Jerusalem above is free; she is our mother.

Gal 4:27 For it is written, “REJOICE, BARREN WOMAN WHO DOES NOT BEAR; BREAK FORTH AND SHOUT, YOU WHO ARE NOT IN LABOR; FOR MORE ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE DESOLATE THAN OF THE ONE WHO HAS A HUSBAND.”

Gal 4:28 And you brethren, like Isaac, are children of promise. 29 But as at that time he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so it is now also.

Gal 4:30 But what does the Scripture say? “CAST OUT THE BONDWOMAN AND HER SON, FOR THE SON OF THE BONDWOMAN SHALL NOT BE AN HEIR WITH THE SON OF THE FREE WOMAN.” 31 So then, brethren, we are not children of a bondwoman, but of the free woman.

It is obvious that more are the children who are born according to the flesh than those who are born according to the Spirit. However, a large part of the “present day believers” have no part in the “Promise”, the “New Covenant” nor the “Kingdom.” All those who are born of the flesh are born into slavery. When we add that the Old Covenant is “letter” and the New Covenant is “Spirit” it is easier to understand the “slavery” to the flesh connection in these two Covenants.

“So then, brethren, we are not children of a bondwoman, but of the free woman.” This is ONLY true IF we have escaped from the “letter / flesh / natural man” and are living by the “Spirit!” If we are still only “born of the flesh” and “living in the flesh” it means we are still living in bondage as slaves to the letter / flesh.

What percentage of the visible church qualifies as slaves who are in bondage to the “letter” is not important to this study. However, many fundamental and religious groups surely qualify as slaves to the old system but do not know it.

Just to be considered as “HEIRS OF GOD” we MUST have escaped from the “natural / letter / flesh” and are living in the “Spirit.” Attempting to bring forth children of the Promise of the Father from the bondwoman is a big waste of time. God will NOT accept these children of the flesh and HE insists that they be cast out.

But, Lord, if we only included those who are born of the Spirit our church will be empty! Therefore, we are sincerely asking you to change your demands and accept these “slaves” and permit them to inherit along with the children of the Spirit. This was Abraham’s cry to God. Now this is God’s grace and mercy but is not evident. CAST OUT THE BONDWOMAN AND HER SON! Why? Because that little “letter / flesh / bondage” will destroy the whole group and cause them to lose the inheritance. For the most part the visible church is just bringing forth children that will be slaves of the flesh and ministers who preach the “letter.”

Lord, we know you love the church and will not forsake it!

First let us see what you are identifying as “church.” Are you sure that what you see and accept is even considered to be a church by God? If it is just a gathering of natural, fleshly, carnal people how can that even be called a “church?”

According to the New Covenant scriptures, the many fundamental groups that have rejected the Promise of the Father and the New Covenant provision cannot possibly qualify as “churches.” What a terrible indictment in that day when they hear “”CAST OUT THE BONDWOMAN AND HER SON, FOR THE SON OF THE BONDWOMAN SHALL NOT BE AN HEIR WITH THE SON OF THE FREE WOMAN.

Those who are building with wood, hay and straw, or the natural material, are certainly wasting their time and just producing more material for the fire.

“But, Lord, how can we build anything big if you have limited us to just building with silver, gold and precious stone?”

This IS the paradox of the Gospel of the Kingdom. Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every person in every nation but be careful NOT to waste your time with all the natural souls that just want to escape hell and make heaven their home. They shall NOT inherit along with the children of the promise. These “natural believers” will NOT be accepted as heirs of God.

How does all this fit into the “Cry for Revival” that we hear in Christian Media? The message

that we call “If My People” syndrome! Why this long delay when so many people are praying and expecting a mighty move of God?

God made a promise to Abraham that he would have a son. However, there was a long delay between the promise and the real son. Why didn’t God honor Abraham’s faith and God’s own promise immediately? Because this was to be a son that is 100% identified with the promise without the help of flesh or human effort. As long as flesh and human effort is involved God must continue to delay? Why? Because God has NO DESIRE to bring forth more souls for bondage or children who are slaves of the flesh. Why? Because God will now raise up a new Priesthood.

The progressive restoration of the church has come to a water shed moment where she can ONLY continue AFTER she has been birthed into The Promise of the Father and living by the New Covenant provision. Up until now the collective visible church has been a mixture of flesh, human opinion, human ability and earthly purpose. The church is like Hagar designing for Ishmael and claiming things that just are NOT AVAILABLE to those who walk according to the flesh. The “church/concubine “ that is just the slave woman still wants to be the Queen and for her children to inherit the promise. She even wants to take the place of the wife that was barren and promote her own offspring. The Corporate Ishmael of the flesh and letter, who are born by natural means, begin to persecute the children who are born of the Spirit.

I am assuming that God is not interested in beginning any restoration with human intelligence, natural ability, carnal understanding, man’s wisdom or by huge conferences dedicated to try to get God to “DO SOMETHING!” As long as flesh, human effort and letter is involved God will certainly delay until that means has totally exhausted itself . When human effort and natural cleverness and carnal ability has lost all hope of success and all the evidence shows it cannot happen, God will bring in the promise of a glorious Church. As long as flesh is still alive and trying, God will have to wait for the promise to be fulfilled. Then what is holding up the “revival?” The human, carnal, fleshly, earthly ministers and warfare soldiers that will immediately claim the glory of praying in the revival.

Some believe that if Hagar had just kept her place as servant and not tried to exalt herself that the mixed families could have survived together and Abraham could be acting father to both sons. However, that just not fit into the message to the Galatians about the two Covenants. They just cannot exist together so you must choose which way you will go. God will NOT accept a mixture. Flesh is opposed to Spirit. Letter is destructive to Spirit. The natural is an enemy of the spiritual. Human revelation and natural understanding are worthless to God’s plan. This is why there is NO WOOD in the Lampstand Church. The Pure Gold Lampstand Church is NOT a mixture of materials and it is hammered out of ONE material, Gold. Trying to build a substitute kind of Lampstand out of human material is a total waste of valuable time and will be rejected by God. Every group that thinks God must accept whatever we build is living in fantasy land. The “whosoever will” of the Bronze Altar cannot be applied to the Lampstand Church in the Holy Place.

Unless we can identify clearly what the “Promise of the Father” really is we may assume that all who are “baptized in the Holy Spirit” and speak in tongues has received the “promise.” Of course if we look from the shallowest viewpoint we can easily come to that conclusion.

Luke 24:49 “And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”

Act 2:32 “This Jesus God raised up again, to which we are all witnesses. 33 “Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured forth this which you both see and hear.

Act 2:38 And Peter said to them, “Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 “For the promise is for you and your children, and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God shall call to Himself.”

Rom 9:8 That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are regarded as descendants.

Gal 3:14 In order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles,

so that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Heb 6:17 In the same way God, desiring even more to show to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose, interposed with an oath, 18 in order that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have strong encouragement, we who have fled for refuge in laying hold of the hope set before us. 19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil, 20 where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

There is no question that the Promise of the Father is directly related to Pentecost and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Act 1:4 And gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, “Which,” He said, “you heard of from Me; 5 for John baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

For the promise is for you and your children, and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God shall call to Himself.”

Obviously the “Promise” did NOT pass away with the last Apostle as is so brazenly preached by those in the flesh who are limited to natural understanding.

Having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured forth this which you both see and hear.

1Cor 13:8 Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part; 10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away.

To use one verse to boldly preach that tongues have passed away with the last Apostle is to say the “Promise” has passed away. Obviously “knowledge” has NOT ceased.

“PERFECT” G5046 teleios tel’-i-os From G5056; complete (in various applications of labor, growth, mental and moral character, etc.); neuter (as noun, with G3588) completeness: - of full age, man, perfect.

It is certainly ingenious to say that the Bible is the “perfect” that is referred to in this verse. However, that is the very best the natural man can do. Why there is so much hostility towards tongues has been a mystery! It must be because the natural man cannot understand this provision of the Promise of the Father. Since this is “one” of the provisions of the promise, if tongues have passed away then obviously the “Promise of the Father” has also passed away. Since the “Promise of the Father” is for ALL who are far off and as many as the Lord, our God, shall call to Himself, that must mean that God has quit calling anyone to Himself!

Therefore, it is clear that the Promise of the Father is Pentecost, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, the New Covenant, and the Kingdom. It is also all those things that are the result of experiencing the New Covenant which IS the Priesthood after the Order of Melchizedek, Lampstand Church and the Kingdom and each of us experientially fulfilling of God’s Eternal Purpose.

The New Covenant is the provision to be “born again” by the Living and Abiding Word of God dwelling in us and to speak in us and through us. {I will put a new Spirit in them} then {I will put My Spirit in them} Speaking in tongues by the Holy Spirit is our first experience of being equipped to speak out from the new inner man in a language we never learned. This is the precursor to permitting the Word of God to speak from our mouth. This then is called “ministering the Word.” Isa 59:20 “And a Redeemer will come to Zion, And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,” declares the LORD. 21 “And as for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the LORD: “My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the LORD, “from now and forever.”

These provisions of the Promise of the Father (Pentecost and the New Covenant) is the means by which the saints come to maturity in the new inner man and are able to speak the Word of God that dwells in us, walks in us and speaks from our mouth in our normal language. When the “ministers,” who are priests after the Order of Melchizedek, have grown up into Christ they will be able to permit the Living Word of God to speak and that will finally be “The Ministry Of The Word.”

The evidence that we have fully experienced the New Covenant and the right provisions is that the same measure of the HOLY SPIRIT that was upon Jesus and the same WORD that was in Jesus’ mouth will be in our mouth and His word speaking from us. This “word” should be under the same anointing of the Holy Spirit that Jesus had.

Until we can testify to experiencing this reality we have not fully arrived at the “Promise of the Father.” Since there is ONLY one seat in the Tabernacle, for us to sit here in this dimension and wait for death or for God to “do something” is really dumb! The “mystery of the Most Holy Place” is being revealed little by little but if we don’t keep our experience up with the revelation we will certainly die short of the full “Promise of the Father.” All these things have been established for 2000 years and have always been available by the “NEW COVENANT” so to pray and fast and ask God to “DO SOMETHING” is really carnal and stupid. What more can He do except to remove the veil from our eyes?
