#451: God’s Purpose And The World Yet To Come

One of the confusing things we encounter very often is the mystery of all the artifacts that are found by those who dig in the earth and search out the antiquities in the sea. Carbon dating has estimated some of these things to be millions of years old. Christian Fundamentalism has insisted upon 6000 years since the original creation and so there is a great conflict between science and religion. Since the “evolution wars,” that began in 1859 with the “Origin Of The Species” by Charles Darwin, this conflict between science and the church has always been present. It might be that there is no conflict at all but just a misunderstanding of the history of this earth and the creations that were present on this earth BEFORE Genesis 1:2.

Heb 2:5 For He did not subject to angels the world to come, concerning which we are speaking. 6 But one has testified somewhere, saying, “WHAT IS MAN, THAT THOU REMEMBEREST HIM? OR THE SON OF MAN, THAT THOU ART CONCERNED ABOUT HIM? 7 “THOU HAST MADE HIM FOR A LITTLE WHILE LOWER THAN THE ANGELS; THOU HAST CROWNED HIM WITH GLORY AND HONOR, AND HAST APPOINTED HIM OVER THE WORKS OF THY HANDS; 8 THOU HAST PUT ALL THINGS IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS FEET.” For in subjecting all things to him, He left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we do not yet see all things subjected to him. 9 But we do see Him who has been made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone. 10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to perfect the author of their salvation through sufferings.

The emphasis of Hebrews 2 begins in understanding there is going to be a “world” after this one and God will NOT put that world under the dominion of angels. Rather He will assign the dominion of that new creation world to man. However, not just any man but specifically God will subject that world to Christ Jesus because He completed His obedience and fulfilled God’s purpose for His Life. Therefore, He has been crowned with glory and honor. He IS That Man for whom are all things, the Man, Christ Jesus! Now, during this time, God is perfecting “many sons” to share in that same glory now assigned to the Prototype Son.

Since this scripture is taken from Psalm 8 it is important to understand what Psalm 8 has reference to and the thrust of its context. The central focus is clearly given. Because of Thine adversaries, To make the enemy and the revengeful cease. It should be clear that God is going to deal with His adversaries and to cause the enemy to cease what he is doing. Well, isn’t God able to just eliminate Satan and the fallen angels? He certainly is and someday He will but He must do that in a righteous, holy way that perfectly coincides with the integrity of the Kingdom Government of God. In order to accomplish that eternal goal of judging the angels, God created man to act as His method of dealing with the devil. Some have interpreted that to mean man we must cast every demon off the face of the earth to prepare the earth for the return of Jesus. Spiritual warfare “ministries” has attempted to pull down the principalities and powers that rule over various areas of the earth and to defeat specific spirits that control cities. I also was involved in that effort a few years ago.

My thought is quite different now from the current emphasis. Therefore, let us begin our search of scriptures to see if God has already given us the answers to these questions.

Psalm 8:2 From the mouth of infants and nursing babes Thou hast established strength, Because of Thine adversaries, To make the enemy and the revengeful cease. Psalm 8:3 When I consider Thy heavens, the work of Thy fingers, The moon and the stars, which Thou hast ordained; 4 What is man, that Thou dost take thought of him? And the son of man, that Thou dost care for him? 5 Yet Thou hast made him a little lower than God, And dost crown him with glory and majesty! 6 Thou dost make him to rule over the works of Thy hands; Thou hast put all things under his feet, 7 All sheep and oxen, And also the beasts of the field, 8 The birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, Whatever passes through the paths of the seas. 9 O LORD, our Lord, How majestic is Thy name in all the earth!

The mystery of where man came from and what his purpose is on this earth has confounded speculators and thinkers for generations. Darwin was searching for a natural explanation called “evolution.” Scientists are still searching the planets to find the source of all life on the earth. Billions of dollars have been spent on this research and sending men into space but no conclusion has been reached. Why? Only the Bible answers that question. One thing we learn from scripture is that God’s final purpose for man is only fulfilled “in the world yet to come.” There are still many mysteries surrounding that time and much of this eternal realm is still not fully revealed. Then what is the purpose for man during this earth’s history? It must be to prepare true believers for the world yet to come and to deal with God’s enemies. What, then, is the purpose of the world yet to come? This is still somewhat of a mystery! However, our thought is this; when we can reveal the mystery of the Tabernacle of God and the Eternal Kingdom of God it will give us a lot of insight into that next world and how it looks and how it functions. Daniel 7 will be a great help understanding the Kingdom Government and how it fits into God’s Eternal Purpose.

First we need to understand who or what group was given dominion over the earth before this one was restored. From Hebrews 2 we can understand that the angels will certainly NOT be given dominion over the world yet to come. We already know the angels do NOT have dominion over this earth and all authority in all realms has been given to man but NOT to all men. In this age all authority has specifically been given to the Man, Christ Jesus. Therefore, the angels must have had dominion over the earth before this one. God gave them wonderful opportunity but they ruined their world at that time. How long they ruled over that earth is not revealed but they surely had dominion for a long time because we know entire cities have been found and items discovered from many past generations long before this earth was restored in Genesis 1:2. There is evidence that “man” was also on that earth when it was destroyed by water before Genesis 1:1.

These facts should not be too difficult to prove with scripture. If the angels did have dominion over the earth before this one, what happened and how did they lose it? Is not this present earth a different earth than the one the angels ruled? Not at all! This is the same earth but it was destroyed by water ages ago and remained in that “destroyed state” for ages and ages. However, in Genesis 1:7 it was restored once again to dry ground again. This happened about 6000 years ago. (Click here to view my Creation Series study entitled In The Beginning.” )

Then we need to discover why the former earth was flooded by water. Why did those civilizations on that former earth perish and is it those remains that archaeologists are digging up now?

2Pet 3:4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.” 5 For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, 6 through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water. 7 But the present heavens and earth by His word are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. 8 But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

If we read this carefully it will be clear that Peter is Not referring to the flood in Noah’s time. In Genesis 1:2 it is quite evident that the Earth was not “created out of water and by water” but that the earth already existed and was restored once again to dry ground after it had been submerged in water. It is also clear that his reference to the present heavens and earth is making a distinction between these and the ancient ones that were destroyed by water before Genesis 1:2. How do we know that is not speaking of Noah’s time and the flood? The present heavens and earth are the same ones that existed in Noah’s time and this is the same earth that was flooded when it rained for 40 days and 40 nights. The people on the earth at that time were destroyed but the earth soon became dry ground when the waters receded and we are here on the same earth today. Therefore, there must have been an earth before this current one that was restored beginning in Genesis 1:2.

Now if we summerize what we have learned so far we could say there was a world before this one. It was under the dominion of angels but God destroyed that earth by submerging it in water and everybody and everything that was present on that earth were destroyed, except Satan and the angels. However, many of the artifacts from those civilizations can still be found today along with evidence of its former cities. Some ancient cities are still submerged in water. We also learn that these present heavens and this present earth will NOT be destroyed by water again but they are reserved for fire at the end of this time period. At this time the present heavens and present earth are being reserved for judgement by fire all ungodly mankind that are left on the earth will be destroyed by that fire along with this present earth and the present heavens.

2Pet 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. 11 Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, on account of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat!

God destroyed the earth once by water and He flooded it once by water but the Rainbow is our guarantee that He will NOT destroy it again by water. The question remains of why did God destroy the earth before this one by submerging it in water? God could have used intense heat to dissolve the fallen angels along with the earth and heavens at that time so they would no longer exist. However, He didn’t do that and we should try to understand why. The fallen angels along with Satan are still with us but judgement day is coming for them. The scriptures reveal what happened when Satan and the angels rebelled against God and destroyed their domain by their disobedience. Remember it was “because of His adversaries” that God made man to deal with them.

Isa 14:14 ‘I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ 15 “Nevertheless you will be thrust down to Sheol, To the recesses of the pit. 16 “Those who see you will gaze at you, They will ponder over you, saying, ‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble, Who shook kingdoms, 17 Who made the world like a wilderness And overthrew its cities, Who did not allow his prisoners to go home?’ 18 “All the kings of the nations lie in glory, Each in his own tomb. 19 “But you have been cast out of your tomb Like a rejected branch, Clothed with the slain who are pierced with a sword, Who go down to the stones of the pit, Like a trampled corpse. 20 “You will not be united with them in burial, Because you have ruined your country, You have slain your people. May the offspring of evildoers not be mentioned forever. 21 “Prepare for his sons a place of slaughter Because of the iniquity of their fathers. They must not arise and take possession of the earth And fill the face of the world with cities.”

That former earth was destroyed and that civilization went into the grave. The kings of the earth at that time also went into their graves. However, Satan and his group were not permitted to die or be destroyed. God didn’t permit Satan to be united with that creation in burial. Satan still has a household of fallen angels or sons but God will not let these take possession of the earth again or to build cities. Obviously, according to this scripture, there were cities in that world controlled by angels.

Then where are all the souls that died when the earth was submerged? Their spirits are still waiting for the final judgement and a great separation will result, each according to their deeds. This judgement will come following the millennium.

Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. 14 And death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

Judgement is certain! There are many, many scriptures that tell us judgement day is coming for the world and for all those who have once lived on the earth and for Satan and all the fallen angels. The question remains; When will this all happen and what is delaying the process? From here on I will have to use some speculation and supposition and tell a story that we may be able to see in scriptures, in types and shadows and from different people in the Bible including Job.

The angels were in charge of the world before this one but they failed to function within the boundaries of their dominion and authority. Satan was a created being and appeared to be the governing angel but something evil arose in him and in his pride and arrogance he decided to set his throne above the throne of God.

Ezekiel 28:14 “You were the anointed cherub who covers, And I placed you there. You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 “You were blameless in your ways From the day you were created, Until unrighteousness was found in you. 16 “By the abundance of your trade You were internally filled with violence, And you sinned; Therefore I have cast you as profane From the mountain of God. And I have destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the stones of fire. 17 “Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom by reason of your splendor. I cast you to the ground; I put you before kings, That they may see you. 18 “By the multitude of your iniquities, In the unrighteousness of your trade, You profaned your sanctuaries. Therefore I have brought fire from the midst of you; It has consumed you, And I have turned you to ashes on the earth In the eyes of all who see you. 19 “All who know you among the peoples Are appalled at you; You have become terrified, And you will be no more.”

Isa 14:9 “Sheol from beneath is excited over you to meet you when you come; It arouses for you the spirits of the dead, all the leaders of the earth; It raises all the kings of the nations from their thrones. 10 “They will all respond and say to you, ‘Even you have been made weak as we, You have become like us. 11 ‘Your pomp and the music of your harps Have been brought down to Sheol; Maggots are spread out as your bed beneath you, And worms are your covering.’

Isa 14:12 “How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations! 13 “But you said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north. 14 ‘I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’

There is little doubt that the angels were once in charge of some huge territory in the creation of God. These are called “nations” but Satan and the angels failed to function within the realm of authority they were assigned to be their dominion. They wanted to expand their rulership over even the throne of God and ascend to Zion.

Jude 1:6 And angels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day.

Some angels have been restrained until that day of judgement but others seem to be free to roam about upon the earth and possibly have access to parts of heaven. God’s purpose is to judge them and then destroy them from having any more access to God’s creation. Some demons also seem to be free to roam around on earth and try to get into people’s body to practice their original perversion.

The next question then becomes apparent and logical. What is hindering God from carrying out His plan? This is where more speculation enters the discussion but certain things are alluded to in many Psalms.

God is Holy and righteous in all His ways and He cannot do any corrupt thing. When He judges the angels it must be out of His Holiness and righteousness. God must remain above reproach in His judgement and He must demonstrate perfection in everything. His Kingdom Government and its eternal principles must not be violated.

In eons of ages past everyone in the Kingdom of the Heavens did the will of God. There was no need for laws, statutes, ordinances or judgements because everyone delighted to do His will. That is until this problem with Satan and the angels arose. But how was God going to judge the angels? If there was no law to break, they could not be tried and found guilty. By what standard then could they be sentenced to eternal damnation?

2Cor 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, 6 being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete. ESV

The real weapons of warfare is our obedience to Christ and to the inner laws of the Kingdom. Yelling at the devil and threatening him in “warfare” is worthless unless we are more obedient and faithful than the devil and his group were. God can only judge disobedience in some created beings when He can find perfect obedience in other created beings. The angels were created beings. Corporate Man is the other created being that God will use to deal with the devil and his group.

1Cor 6:2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you not competent to constitute the smallest law courts? 3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, matters of this life?

It is clear that God’s plan is for the saints {other created beings} to judge the angels. The question is this; Can the saints who are NOT living in obedience really judge the angels for their disobedience OR will the saints judge the angels BY their obedience. We can easily answer that question by looking at the prototype Son who fulfilled his obedience and ALL judgement was given to Him.

John 5:22 “For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son,

Heb 5:8 Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered. 9 And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation, 10 being designated by God as a high priest according to the order of Melchizedek.

Why has all judgment been given to the Son? Because He learned obedience and now He is qualified to judge all disobedience.

John 3:36 “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

The Greek says “but he who does not believe unto obedience shall not see life.” Here we see “Truth” in the scriptures that properly relate the saints to the Kingdom of God and its absolute demands! Here is a vivid contrast between the Gospel of the Kingdom and this counterfeit “gospel of salvation” that assumes that God overlooks our disobedience because of God’s grace.

At this point we will need to fill in some gaps in the study but we will need to use some speculation and some supposition. We may be able to use types and shadows from the Old Testament to form our thesis. Of course we will try to stay within the context of what is revealed in scripture.

God destroyed the former earth because of disobedience. Now He must find a way to judge all disobedience but He must do it in an absolutely righteous way. The angels were created beings but they disobeyed God and by their disobedience destroyed their world. Now if God could raise up other created beings that would live in full obedience to God He could use their obedience to judge the angel’s disobedience.

In our study “ In The Beginning” we show the difference between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2 so we will not repeat those points. For that reason we will go directly to Genesis 1:6-7.

Gen 1:6 Then God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” 7 And God made the expanse, and separated the waters which were below the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so.

The earth already existed but it BECAME formless and void. It was NOT created that way, it became that way. Why? Because when angels rebelled against God they destroyed the world over which they had dominion and the world became formless and void! It was NOT created formless and void.

Isa 45:18 For thus says the LORD, who created the heavens (He is the God who formed the earth and made it, He established it and did not create it a waste place, But formed it to be inhabited), “I am the LORD, and there is none else.

Jer 4:23 I looked on the earth, and behold, it was formless and void; And to the heavens, and they had no light. 24 I looked on the mountains, and behold, they were quaking, And all the hills moved to and fro. 25 I looked, and behold, there was no man, And all the birds of the heavens had fled. 26 I looked, and behold, the fruitful land was a wilderness, And all its cities were pulled down Before the LORD, before His fierce anger.

Jer 4:27 For thus says the LORD, “The whole land shall be a desolation, Yet I will not execute a complete destruction. 28 “For this the earth shall mourn, And the heavens above be dark, Because I have spoken, I have purposed, And I will not change My mind, nor will I turn from it.”

The earth existed before Genesis 1 with men, birds and cities. It was a fruitful land but it became a wilderness. The earth at that time was made desolate but it was not eliminated. It went into a mourning. However, the original purpose of God never changed! What God purposed before the world was has never changed. That purpose is focused upon the world yet to come.

Therefore, after eons of time He decided to restore the former earth to dry ground once again and begin a completely new creation on it. This time in Genesis 1 when God restores the earth He begins with a created being that is much less and lower than the angels. This time He will begin with a man made of dirt. Dirt has no power, wisdom or inherent dominion. When this “dirt man” is compared with the angels he is nothing. Angels were much mightier than this dirt man, more cleaver and had more wisdom and power. Man was created much lower than angels!

But now, just as in was in the original creation when the angels had dominion, there were no laws, statutes, ordinances or rules established for Adam except to “Obey My Voice.”

If this “man” , Adam, created out of dirt could succeed in following God completely and walk in perfect obedience he would then be fully justified in judging the angels. Of course the angels understood this concept so they assembled their forces in Genesis 3 to deceive the man into disobedience. They chose Satan, their best deceiver, and he was given the job of deceiving the man and his wife. If they could get the man to disobey God they would be safe and delivered from judgment. The man that was disobedient could not judge the angels for their disobedience. Of course we know what happened. The angels were successful and the man fell into disobedience just like the angels! For that reason man was unqualified to judge the angels for their disobedience. The angels were “saved” from being judged by man even up until now.

About 4000 years passed after Genesis 3 and God had not raised up any corporate man that could walk in perfect obedience to God and thereby judge the angels. When God brought Israel to Mount Sinai He revealed that He did not require sacrifice and offerings but just a holy nation who would obey His voice. Why? God will judge the angels by man’s obedience!

Exo 19:5 ‘Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine; 6 and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you shall speak to the sons of Israel.”

Jer 7:21 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, “Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices and eat flesh. 22 “For I did not speak to your fathers, or command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings and sacrifices. 23 “But this is what I commanded them, saying, Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people; and you will walk in all the way which I command you, that it may be well with you.’ 24 “Yet they did not obey or incline their ear, but walked in their own counsels and in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and went backward and not forward. 25 “Since the day that your fathers came out of the land of Egypt until this day, I have sent you all My servants the prophets, daily rising early and sending them. 26 “Yet they did not listen to Me or incline their ear, but stiffened their neck; they did evil more than their fathers. 27 “And you shall speak all these words to them, but they will not listen to you; and you shall call to them, but they will not answer you. 28 “And you shall say to them, ‘This is the nation that did not obey the voice of the LORD their God or accept correction; truth has perished and has been cut off from their mouth.

It is clear that God did not just want one man to obey His voice, He wanted a Kingdom of Priests who would obey His voice. He had one man, Moses, who was almost “obedient”! Still, God wanted a full corporate group to come into His presence, hear His voice, keep His covenant and obey. In other words walk in obedience. If He could find that corporate group He could make them into a Kingdom of Priests who were qualified to judge the angels!

History reveals that in 4000 years God could NOT realize His purpose through a dirt man, after Adam. However, over these past 6000 years God did hold back His wrath and He remained righteous in all His ways in dealing with the devil and the fallen angels. He manifested the standards of heaven and His Kingdom Government by His patience and longsuffering waiting for a “man” that would walk in obedience.

About 2000 years ago God began with His ultimate plan that He had been announcing through the prophets for many years. God would bring forth a Messiah, the Christ of God, who would be the first born of a new species of man upon this earth. His plan was for this new species of man to walk in His ways, keep His covenant, hear His voice and obey. If God could find such a man, He could make Him the High Priest of a different and original order. Then if through this one perfect man God could raise up a corporate group of obedient sons who would come up His mountain, hear His voice, keep His covenant and obey, He could realize His purpose of finally developing a Kingdom of Priests and through them deal with the devil.

God could then form a corporate holy nation( church) who would do His will and obey . If this corporate group of sons were successful they would be fully qualified by their obedience to judge all disobedience. They would judge the angels and make the enemy and the revengeful to cease. God, then, would gather together a corporate group that would be a Kingdom of Priests after the order of Melchizedek and they would be qualified to rule over the world yet to come.

Since this is going to be an entirely new species of man upon the earth, God must begin with a completely new kind of creation. This cannot be a modified or forgiven first Adam, the first man, but must begin with a totally NEW KIND OF MAN! He would be the Last Adam and second man. His birth must be totally different from the first Adam. He would be the Head of a new species of beings.

Therefore, God is going to bring forth upon this earth a New Species of Man that is born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. God must find a pure virgin girl into which He can implant the Divine Sperma and bring forth “the Son of God” who is not anything like the first Adam, except outwardly. Since He was born of God and of a virgin He becomes the very first of a totally new species of man upon this earth. Thus Jesus is the first born of many brethren of this new creation species.

This new creation man is called the Last Adam, the second Man, who is the first born of a corporate group in which each one is born in this new way. This SON OF GOD must be born of God and in a completely different way than first Adam who was created from the dirt dimension. Then this new kind of man must develop in His obedience and stature and do the whole will of God. He must develop far beyond the dirt / earth realm of the first Adam and NOT be found with sin of any kind. He must do nothing on His own initiative but ONLY do the will of His Father.

However, He MUST be made lower than the angels so there could be no complaint in heaven or any charge of unfairness when He judges the angels. At the judgement seat EVERYTHING must be legal, proper, holy and fully in accord with the Kingdom principles. In order for this Last Adam to be Head of this new corporate group that would walk in full obedience to God, He must be tested in all things and yet without sin or disobedience. He must learn obedience by the things which He suffered and be declared to be perfect. Then He would become the author of eternal salvation to all those who obey Him.

Now we know that God has received His Last Adam, The Man Christ Jesus, and exalted Him to the Throne of God. That means to His own right hand in the highest heaven. God has His man as we see in Hebrews 2:9. Now God is still working to bring many sons to that same glory that we see in Hebrews 2:10. Why? Is God not yet satisfied with ONE PERFECT SON who is able to judge the angels? No!

John 16:8 “And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin, and righteousness, and judgment; 9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you no longer behold Me; 11 and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

Since now the ruler of this world has been judged the Father can send the Holy Spirit who will continue the work of raising up a Kingdom of manifested sons who will do the will of God and be obedient.

Why? Because it was not just Satan that rebelled and fell but a corporate group of angels. Therefore, in righteousness God must bring forth a corporate group who will walk in complete obedience like the Prototype Son. These will make up the Body of our High Priest who is King / Priest after the Order of Melchizedek. Obviously the “many sons” must become priests after the exact same order and thereby become a Kingdom of Priests.

When, Jesus, this New Creation person, was born, the angels were once again faced with

the possibility of being fully and finally judged IF this plan of God was successful and this New Man could fulfill His full obedience to God. Everything was going well for the angels until Jesus came to Jordan to be baptized. Now things were getting serious because Jesus began to fulfill ALL righteousness. Therefore, the group of angels sent their top deceiver once again to the wilderness to upset God’s Plan by deceiving the Last Adam. If they could do this they could secure their safety from the final judgement.

We know they were successful in deceiving the first man, Adam! Adam and Eve failed in their obedience. From Genesis 3 the angels gained about 4000 years of time without judgment.

However, that freedom of the angels is now challenged once again IF God can raise up a corporate group of obedient sons. Why the angels? And concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged. Satan has already been judged because the faithfulness and obedience of Jesus!

But now the challenge for God, to fully succeed, is to raise up a corporate group of this new creation man that will live in perfect obedience like the prototype Son who is the Governmental Head of the kingdom. The Last Adam was born of a virgin by the sperma of God and appeared as a baby in a manger. Surely it would not be too difficult for the angels to stop this Messiah before He came to maturity and begin His ministry and fulfill the Purpose of God in perfect obedience.

All that the angels had to do was deceive the Last Adam into doing something on His own initiative or to do something in disobedience and they would be safe indefinitely. Of course we all know they failed and Jesus Christ completed the Purpose of God, walked in holiness and in obedience and through suffering was made perfect. He has now been given all judgement over both heaven and earth.

Mat 28:18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

It should be easy to see why all believers do NOT have authority on the earth because they do not live in obedience. However, God has still purposed to raise up a corporate group of many sons just like His only begotten Son and bring them to that same glory obtained by the Lord Jesus Christ. How? Through a corporate obedience because it was not just one person- Satan- that rebelled but a corporate group of thousands of angels! How is that corporate obedience revealed today? By the many members in one body in full obedience to the Perfected Head.

Heb 5:8 Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered. 9 And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation, 10 being designated by God as a high priest according to the order of Melchizedek.

Our obedience is measured by our obedience to Christ Jesus, the Sovereign Head of His Body. This will result in “eternal salvation.” This “eternal fact” has been ignored by much of the church because of a perverted concept about grace.

For about 2000 years the Lord Jesus Christ has been walking among the Lampstand Churches warning, exhorting, demanding, accusing, threatening and teaching in order to produce that corporate group of sons called the Lampstand Church. Since the enemies and revengeful have failed to deceive and stop the author of our salvation from coming to perfection they have turned their full attention to deceiving the church into promoting all kinds of irrelevant activity and programs that prevent the church from growing and fulfilling the purpose of God. Many are just taught to do the will of the leaders instead of the will of God and this has produced nothing. Some have substituted grace for obedience!

For 2000 years the devil and his sons have deceived the church leaders by tempting them with the same deceptions they used to attempt to deceive Jesus in the wilderness. That means to do something on His own initiative. The devil wanted Him to throw himself off the temple and when you survive without harm even to your toe, it will begin a tremendous ministry and your fame will spread very quickly. Thousands will follow your ministry!

As long as our enemies are successful in keeping the church functioning on their own initiative, living in disobedience or creating irrelevant activity and powerless programs, the angels are safe from judgment. Will the Lord return for a lukewarm and casual group that just sing and preach grace and more grace but have no intention of living in obedience to God and in obedience to His Living Word. Not at all! Why? Such people will never be able to judge the angels and fulfill the purpose of God. While “judging the angels” is just one aspect of God’s Eternal Purpose, it is an essential part and an integral part of our preparation for the Kingdom. After we are qualified to judge the angels by our obedience there is still God’s purpose for His manifested sons in the world yet to come.

But what if God cannot find a corporate group of disciples in the next 2000 years that will walk in full obedience? Well, God is very patient and He will not hurry to judgment until He has His manifested sons. God cannot set His Eternal Government over the world yet to come UNTIL He finds full obedience here in this time period called the “church age.”

Obedience seems to be a key phrase in the Gospel of the Kingdom. Here are a few examples.

Rom 5:19 For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.

Rom 6:16 Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness?

Rom 15:18 For I will not presume to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me, resulting in the obedience of the Gentiles by word and deed,

1Pe 1:22 Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart,

Act 5:29 But Peter and the apostles answered and said, “We must obey God rather than men.

2Thes 1:8 dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

1Pet 1:2 according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, that you may obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be yours in fullest measure.

1Pet 4:17 For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

It seems clear that “accepting Jesus as your personal Savior” and be “saved” is a totally

different message than we see presented in scripture as God’s plan for “Eternal Salvation.” Informing believers about the “grace to hear His voice and obey” is correct but telling people that “grace permits us to ignore obedience” is a perverted message that agrees perfectly with the devil’s deception. Accept Jesus as your “personal Savior” and ignore the Kingdom demands is just another deception of the devil. Thousands of Evangelical Church Leaders have accepted that deception of the devil and permitted their “church” to remain in ignorance of God’s plan to have a corporate group of sons who hear His voice, keep His New Covenant and walk in obedience.

Another question that has arisen lately is this; Is it possible to be experientially righteous if we are walking in disobedience. How can we define “the righteous acts of the saints?”

Rev 19:7 “Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.” 8 And it was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. 9 And he said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’” And he said to me, “These are true words of God.”

If the Bride and her garments are the “righteous acts of the saints” and these are connected to obedience, who are all these multitudes who are INVITED to the marriage feast who are NOT the bride? Will, there be disobedience in heaven like we see in Satan and multitudes of angels? Maybe there are different places in heaven for these rebellious saints who were deceived into a casual, disobedient “Christian “ life based upon a supposed “grace” that is misunderstood as a license to do whatever you like and then seek forgiveness for your lawlessness.

The warnings in Revelation 2 & 3 are not based upon “grace” but upon repent and obey. Jesus is not just after “saved people” to inhabit heaven but He is preparing a “body to do His will.”

Heb 10:5 Therefore, when He comes into the world, He says, “SACRIFICE AND OFFERING THOU HAST NOT DESIRED, BUT A BODY THOU HAST PREPARED FOR ME; ( to do thy will)

God is busy working in us to prepare a corporate body for Christ Jesus in which each member delights to do His will. God prepared a single body, born of Mary, for Jesus to do God’s will. That process is complete. Now God is preparing a corporate body of Christ to do His will. In my thesis I imply that He cannot permit disobedient members to be in His body or that “body” would be ineffective in judging the angels. How do we arrive at that conclusion?

As High Priest He cannot permit defective members to be in His body and still be High Priest as we see in Leviticus 21.

Lev 21:21 ‘No man among the descendants of Aaron the priest, who has a defect, is to come near to offer the LORD’S offerings by fire; since he has a defect, he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God.

Now Jesus, the Head, is perfected, but He is also our High priest and He must not have defects in His body or He could not offer the sacrifices or offer out the bread of God!

As the King of His Kingdom, he cannot permit rebellious and disobedient citizens to rule in His Kingdom. Will the excuse; “but I never heard His voice so how could I obey” be acceptable at the judgement seat when each of us must appear to answer for what we did while we were in this body?

The “Gospel of the Kingdom” is a very demanding and an offensive gospel for those who just want to live a lukewarm life, do their own will, live only to serve themselves but go to heaven someday. By isolating certain “salvation scriptures” we have built a “gospel” that ignores the Kingdom but this limited ‘gospel” becomes the sum total of our Bible understanding!

Eph 2:4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, that no one should boast.

This scripture presents a wonderful message but it should become a part of the whole plan of God and not an isolated “proof scripture” that assumes that this IS the whole gospel. No one can enter the Kingdom of God who does not do the whole will of God is also the gospel! Obedience is also another aspect of the real gospel. Those who practice the things of the flesh shall not inherit the Kingdom of God is also part of the true gospel.

It is precisely this message of the “World Yet To Come” and the perfection of those who will participate in the Government of the Eternal Kingdom that makes submitting to and obeying the “Kingdom Demands” the normal Christian Life! The entire period of the New Covenant Christianity - from Calvary to the Millennial Reign of Christ- is just preparation for the “World Yet To Come.” Thousands today are trusting in some questionable “salvation” by believing in a church’s particular doctrine but are ignorant of the obedience essential to New Covenant Christianity. It is my understanding that it is New Covenant Christianity that corresponds to the experience of Kingdom Salvation. It is Kingdom Salvation that assures us a place in the “Government of the World Yet To Come.”

“ Bastard Christianity” is the reason the world has such a low opinion of the visible church.

Heb 12:7 It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? 8 But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate [ bastard] children and not sons.

Heb 12:9 Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live? 10 For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness. 11 All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.

It is my opinion that “Say these words and believe this doctrine” kind of “salvation” has only produced “bastard churches” that are NOT being prepared to participate in the eternal purpose of God and will find no place in the Kingdom Government of God.

If you are without discipline then you are [ bastard] children and not sons is a very serious message but is certainly true in the Kingdom dimension of true and full salvation. Telling these bastard children that they are the body of Christ is a VERY serious error that is repeated often in many assemblies. Hopefully, the real Gospel of the Kingdom is preached in the whole world it will correct this ignorance in the church and the world will one day see a church that demonstrates integrity, power and holiness.
