#394 Kingdom: Recognizing A Different Jesus

2Cor 11:4 For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, you bear this beautifully.

It is clear that even in Paul’s day there were those who were preaching a different Jesus, a different Spirit and a different gospel. This may seem incredible but today it is evident that the same perversion of truth exists. We can always point fingers at others but I discovered I needed to ask myself which Jesus I was preaching. After preaching for over 38 years it is amazing that this issue has not been permanently settled in my mind. The fact is that for the past several weeks I have been trying to recognize the real Jesus of the Bible.

What I have discovered is this; My actual knowledge of the risen Christ has been formed out of a theological mold that was cast by those who had no first hand revelation of who He is today. They have created a mold from certain scriptures that are easily understood by the natural mind of the natural man. The natural man may have a doctor’s degree in theology but still have no capacity to understand the mysteries that are hidden to ALL natural men, regardless of their education. They are certainly accurate enough when describing the historical Jesus and how he was born, what He did and why He did it. They even tell us how he ascended and where He sits. Even a shallow reading of scriptures will reveal that they have their facts correct.

My theory is that even though we recognize the historical Jesus from the various scriptures, the only thing we really know are various facts about Him. The facts are easily understood by the natural man with the natural mind and can be relayed to the natural mind of those in the pews, by a natural man in the pulpit whom preaches with natural words in the same way we teach mathematics or English Literature. We preach as though the Bible was a history book created by man to be logical and understandable to anyone who could read it with basic comprehension.

1Cor 2:6 Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are mature; a wisdom, however, not of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are passing away; 7 but we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom, which God predestined before the ages to our glory; 8 the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;

1Cor 2:9 but just as it is written, "THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD, AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN, ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM." 10 For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. 11 For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man, which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God.

1Cor 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things freely given to us by God, 13 which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. 14 But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. 15 But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no man.

Therefore, if we are just preaching natural things to natural people, it is evident that we are just preaching the historical Jesus. In our Tabernacle studies we have shared how in the Outer Court dimension everything was seen in natural light. Therefore, we are not expecting deeper understanding of spiritual things or the revealing of the mysteries that have been hidden from past generations in those who are in the Outer Court dimension of Christian Life. In fact we are insisting that the Outer Court dimension is NOT for deeper revelation but just for the preparation to enter into the Holy Place dimension where the Spiritual Light of the Lampstand is normal. In this process of preparation there MUST be a metamorphose from the natural believer from his natural state to that spiritual state that is essential to participate in the Holy Place dimension.

The greatest challenge to spiritual truth is from the natural man because he has NO CAPACITY to accept or understand spiritual things. The book of First Corinthians is not written to unbelievers but to genuine born again believers who had not passed through the natural realms of preparation designed for the Outer Court. They had received the Holy Spirit as a down payment but never moved on to fulness. They were “believers” but still just natural men. In the next chapter Paul said they were just carnal or fleshly. Their new spirit and the new inner man had not yet grown and they were still babes. They were in the process of preparation but there were too many areas of their lives that were still un-processed. For that reason they could NOT understand spiritual things. It is NOT that they didn’t want to know and understand, they just had no capacity to understand spiritual things.

Our theory is that the visible church today is in this exact same condition and the “church system” we are using to mature the church has totally failed us. However, it is this same “church system” that has created the mold into which new believers are being formed. The “mold” prevents the new believers AND the old believers from going on to maturity. The “earthly mold” is preventing the believers from becoming full grown Christians who can speak that “Wisdom from above” and reveal the mysteries to hungry souls who want to seek the Kingdom of God.

I am speculating that this is the exact reason that we are content to preach the historical Jesus simply because we have NO CAPACITY to receive the revelation of the ascended and eternal Christ. My theory is that we have confused the baby Jesus that was born to Mary with the Man Christ Jesus that is sitting at the right hand of God.

Then are you saying these are not the same Jesus? No! They are the same person but NOT the same man. The Man, Christ Jesus, is quite different from the male baby that was born to Mary whom she named Jesus. We could define the difference as 33 ½ years of consecration, preparation, testing and sacrifice. Then death, burial, resurrection, ascension and now taking His seat at the right hand of the Majesty in the heavens.

1Ti 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

Act 7:55 But being full of the Holy Spirit, he gazed intently into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God; 56 and he said, "Behold, I see the heavens opened up and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God."

This IS the same person but NOT the same man that walked along the shores of Galilee, healed the sick, fed the multitudes, preached the Kingdom and cast out demons.

This ascended Christ Jesus is Times Father and paternal Head of a completely new species of men who are birthed from above by the sperma of God. That Sperma is the Living and Abiding Word Of God.

John 1:12 But as many as received Him, {the Word of God} to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

2Cor 5:16 Therefore from now on we recognize no man according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.

Why is it that we no longer can trust anything from the natural realm to reveal the Real Christ to us? Paul tells us here.

2Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; {creation; a new species} the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

Those true Christians, who are in Christ, are of a completely new creation and are beginning in a New Genesis. Their Paternal Head is NOT the first Adam but the Last Adam, the Man Christ Jesus. Therefore, this new species CANNOT be known after the flesh as those of the old creation are known. The Last Adam is not of the same species as the first Adam and neither are the members of His body. EVERYBODY in the Last Adam are of exactly the same species as the Man Christ Jesus.

Therefore, we can offer NO HOPE of eternal salvation or any confidence of eternal Life to anyone who has not metamorphosed out of the first Adam by death and burial and then INTO the Last Adam, the Man Christ Jesus, by resurrection.

Our Theme Is Still Recognizing The Real Jesus.

Those who preach a different Jesus have formed an earthly mold in which they can limit and contain this “different Jesus” but can NEVER modify the Real Man, Christ Jesus, or force Him to fit into any earthly mold. These same persons have created an earthly, political, systematic “religious mold” into which this failed church system has been forced to conform. The natural men are building this “different church system” that fits well into this “different Jesus” and the “system” seems to multiply in the earth dimension. In this other dimension, the Man, Christ Jesus, is now walking among the Lampstands Churches that He is building and disciplining them to fit into the Real Eternal Person, the Last Adam.

Let Us See If We Can Discover The Real Jesus!

Phil 2:5 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE SHOULD BOW, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The understanding of this scripture must begin out of the earth dimension before we can clearly see of Whom this is speaking!

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being by Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

We need to remember that all things were originally created through the Word of God and that nothing came into being except by the Word of God.

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Again, we need to remember that it was this Eternal Word that became flesh and was seen in the likeness of man. This new species of Man originated with God and was formed from the Eternal Word of God. This Eternal Word of God came as “Divine Sperma” into Mary and became flesh. She conceived Jesus by the Holy Spirit who delivered the “Sperma.”

The Word Of God preexisted the world and the first Adam. He was the source of the conception of Jesus in the womb of Mary. He was with God and was God. The Word existed in the form of God but He didn’t insist upon equality with God. Therefore, He emptied Himself of His divine rights and became a Bondservant in the eternal realms of heaven. Then He humbled Himself to take on the appearance of earthly man. The “Divine Sperma” was not just a substance that came from Him but He IS the Sperma that conceived Jesus in the womb of Mary. It was the Word of God that became Jesus of Nazareth but this Jesus must develop to become the Word of God in eternity future. He is still the Man, Christ Jesus, in heaven. His name now is the Word of God.

Rev 19:13 And He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood; and His name is called The Word of God.

Rev 19:16 And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."

Phil 2 He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Phil 2 is began by referring to the Eternal Word of God that became flesh! In heaven He humbled Himself to become man. Now the verses transition to refer to Jesus, the Son of Man, who became obedient to the point of death on the cross. Therefore, God highly exalted Him, Jesus, and bestowed on Him, Jesus, a glorious name by which every knee must bow and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Lord is the word; Greek kurios koo'-ree-os Strongs Dictionary; (supremacy); supreme in authority, that is, (as noun) controller; by implication God, Lord, master.

This is really incredible that the Man Christ Jesus should be named “the Word of God” and be recognized as “LORD” which refers to God. Now every knee must bow before Him of the souls in heaven, on earth and those who are under the earth or in hell.

The glory and witness of the Last Adam is that he fulfilled every desire of God as man and was found pleasing to God in everything. Therefore, His obedience and perfect submission is a witness to every being that ever lived upon the earth of the potential that God has placed with us to fulfill His eternal Purpose and bring joy to His heart.

The first Adam could have received EVERYTHING he needed to fulfill the purpose of God just by eating from the Tree of Life. The new species, of which we are a part, are generated by being born again by the Living and Abiding Word of God and existing with the new resurrection Life of the Man, Christ Jesus. The privilege of living in this church age is that the great abundance of God’s provision will enable us to finally fulfill God’s Eternal Purpose and bring Joy to His heart.

Jesus Is The Prototype Son Who Is Given As Our Example.

We need to be born in the same way He was born, by the Living and Abiding Word of God. We need to be born of the water and born of the Spirit. We need to develop through all the stages of His life, take up our cross and follow Him in doing the whole will of God. If we save our life [psuche] we will certainly lose it. Therefore, let us review quickly how this process unfolds.

What grew from the embryo until Mary gave birth was called the Son of God, the Son of the Most High. Why? Because Jesus was not conceived by man but by God, through the “Divine Sperma.” Therefore, this Jesus began a new species of man upon the earth who were born from above. The Word, through which He was conceived, has never ceased to be God. There is now at the present time and always will be the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit. While the “sperma / seed” came from the Eternal Word of God, this impartation did not deprive the Word of God of anything but was sent to reproduce the Word of God in those who receive HIM. This Divine Sperma can reproduce indefinitely without altering the Word of God in any way.

1Peter 1:22 Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart, 23 for you have been born again not of seed {Sperma} which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and abiding word of God.

Jesus did NOT reproduce in the earthly / dirt realm.

He Did NOT reproduce through dirt women after the first Adam! Why? He made Himself a eunuch for the sake of the Kingdom of God. (Many false teachers have tried to introduce the lie that He had children into the church over the centuries.) Earthly children are not sufficient to fulfill God’s Eternal Purpose so He never had any!

John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

We need to identify the HIM who the children of God receive in this passage. “Him” is the Word of God and NOT the Jesus born of Mary. Jesus doesn’t appear in John 1 until verse 15. Why must they receive the Word of God? Because He provides the “Sperma” through which we are born again or born of God.

Natural sperma, which is perishable, can ONLY produce natural / dirt children of first Adam. These can NEVER inherit the Kingdom! ONLY the Divine Sperma can produce the children of God. Therefore, assembling 20,000 natural children of Adam on Sunday morning is not very impressive from the eternal viewpoint. Natural “sperma” can only produce children with the sentence of death and the promise that they will return to the earth from which they were taken.

Let Us Make a Distinction Between The Eternal Word and Jesus Born of Mary

The Eternal Word Had No Beginning. He had no Father or Mother. He was with the Eternal Father from the beginning. He has no genealogy or beginning of days. He IS God. He was NEVER born and could NEVER die.

Jesus was born on this earth about 2000 years ago to a virgin named Mary. We know He grew and what He did when He was 12 years old. We know how He was baptized and how he received the Holy Spirit. We learn how He was tempted by the devil. We know about His life and ministry and how He died for the sins of the world. We know how He reconciled mankind to God through the shedding of His blood and through His death on the cross. This is the Jesus that was buried but on the third day he resurrected into a different dimension of Life.

1Cor 15:3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

1Cor 15:21 For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive.         Jesus Christ MUST be an authentic man and not just the Word of God or an angel. Why? Because sin and death by sin came into the world by man, the first Adam. Therefore, the solution to sin and death MUST also come through man. However, the “man” who is to be the redeemer must NOT be born into the “sin nature” of the first Adam. For that reason the Messiah, Christ Jesus, MUST be born from above and with a distinctly different nature not corrupted by sin.

Heb 9:26 Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.

After the Resurrection the difference between Jesus and the Word of God becomes imperceptible. In fact in the Book of Revelation the Man Christ Jesus is called The Word Of God and He is identified as the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings.

Heb 1:1 God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, 2 in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.

Heb 1:3 And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4 having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they.

We know that the Bible says that God created all things by His Word. Here it says He created all things through His Son. His Son now is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature. He is speaking of His Son, the Man, Christ Jesus! How do we know that? Because He made purification of sins and sat down on the right hand of the majesty on high.

Here there is NO DISTINCTION between the Word of God and the Son, Christ Jesus! The Son has merged into the Living and Abiding Word of God until if you see one you see the other. He and the Father have become ONE. However, the Son sits at the right hand of God which seems to indicate that He is the Man, Christ Jesus and not the God in John 1:1-5. It appears that the Son sits at the right hand of God as a separate being that has been elevated to a position of King of all kings, Lord of all lords and the Head of a Priesthood of sons after the order of Melchizedek. Jesus, as man, has been transformed into the exact representation of the nature of the Word of God, who IS God.

All this would just be academic if it was not made clear that this is ALSO God’s purpose for all Christians after the Order of Jesus!

Heb 2:10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to perfect the author of their salvation through sufferings.

All this may seem to be hyperbole if God had not revealed this in Genesis one and reconfirmed it again in Psalm 8.

hyperbole >noun deliberate exaggeration, not meant to be taken literally.

Psalm 8:4 What is man, that Thou dost take thought of him? And the son of man, that Thou dost care for him? 5 Yet Thou hast made him a little lower than God, And dost crown him with glory and majesty! 6 Thou dost make him to rule over the works of Thy hands; Thou hast put all things under his feet,

Since this eternal fact is reconfirmed in this very clear scripture in the New Covenant, we surely ought to accept the reality of God’s Eternal Purpose! God really does intend for all those who are qualified to rule with the Man, Christ Jesus, over all the works of His hands. That means to sit with Him in the Kingdom and rule over God’s creation.

But doesn’t this include ALL believers as the popular “Evangelical Gospel” teaches? No! How can we be so certain? Because the “Gospel of the Kingdom” clearly reveals that we must be counted worthy of the Kingdom.

2Thes 1:5 This is a plain indication of God's righteous judgment so that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which indeed you are suffering.

It also clearly teaches that not all believers who address Jesus as Lord will enter into the Kingdom of God. Only those who do the will of God.

Mat 7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.

Not all believers are part of the family of God. Only those who do the will of God.

Mat 12:47 And someone said to Him, "Behold, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside seeking to speak to You." 48 But He answered the one who was telling Him and said, "Who is My mother and who are My brothers?" 49 And stretching out His hand toward His disciples, He said, "Behold, My mother and My brothers! 50 "For whoever does the will of My Father who is in heaven, he is My brother and sister and mother."

Only those who do the will of God can participate in the “abiding Life.”

1John 2:17 And the world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God abides forever.

All ministries that want to accurately preach the Kingdom of God must not be timid about clearly revealing the “demands of the Kingdom.” Why? Because the popular “evangelical gospel” has perverted the “gospel of the Kingdom” by ignorantly teaching that “all believers will participate in the Kingdom of God” and will rule with Him. They ignorantly declare that “doing the will of God” is just “works” and has nothing to do with our salvation. Others ignorantly declare that if you have repented of your sins you have done the will of God. Others say that if you have accepted Jesus as your personal Savior you have done the will of God. Others point to water baptism as the climax of doing His Will. Others add a step of receiving the Holy Spirit as completing the will of God. The natural man, preaching an earthly message called the “gospel of salvation” has ignored the demands of the Kingdom .

Why Is This Important?

The Jesus that we want to recognize and preach is the King of all kings. He is the King of the Kingdom of God. How can we accurately preach “The Correct Jesus” without recognizing the Kingdom of God of which He is the King. The “Jesus” that is only recognized as “Savior” is NOT the Jesus of the Bible. When He is King and He is obeyed He surely saves us in the Eternal realms.

Heb 5:8 Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered. 9 And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation,

The basis of this scripture is the Kingdom of God. In the Kingdom every citizen must obey the King. With the “popular gospel” no obedience is necessary because of the grace of God. Nevertheless, it is clear there is a definite difference between The Gospel of the Kingdom and this “different gospel.”

John 3:36 "He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."

Paul referred to a “different Jesus”, a “different Spirit”, and a “different gospel.” In this document we are focusing upon the “different Jesus.”
