#382 Kingdom: Copies Of Things In The Heavens

The Ultimate Reality IS The Substance Of God PLUS the Essence Of His Work.

About Everything Else is A Copy, An Example, Information, Doctrine or Some Representation Of God. That means we are shown an earthly example of the Ultimate Reality by Earth Words But We Still Require An Inner Revelation To Comprehend Ultimate Truth!

Heb 9:23 Therefore it was necessary for the copies of the things in the heavens to be cleansed with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ did not enter a holy place made with hands, a mere copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;

1Co 10:6 Now these things happened as examples for us, that we should not crave evil things, as they also craved.

1Co 10:11 Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.

Rom 15:4 For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

There is a great difficulty in fully and accurately perceiving the “copies” when we have not yet perceived the realities. However, the copies are designed to give some understanding of the ultimate realities. Many, many things in the scriptures are just “copies” of things in the heavens and are explained with earth words that are extremely limited in their ability to convey eternal truth. However, since we all MUST begin with earth words and human understanding, God has given us certain “pictures” in scriptures to convey spiritual truth. Still, no Earth Picture can fully explain Eternal Truth because they only “represent truth” and are not the Exact Substance of Truth. We may discover the Essence of Truth, which is the nearest we get to the Absolute Truth that Is God, Himself.

The manifestation or the working part of the substance.

A Pastor recently expounded on this explanation in regard to the Tabernacle. He said the Lampstand can be used to demonstrate these two categories. The Lampstand is made of Gold. That is its substance. But that gold was hammered into the Lampstand and the Lampstand became the “essence” or expression of the gold.

Heb 1:3 And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Christ, as the Man, was the Essence of God but the Substance of God, Himself, is the Father, The Word and Holy Spirit. This will become important as we examine the Priesthood after the Order of Melchizedek.

There are three predominate pictures in Scripture that are very easy to understand so we always start with them in presenting spiritual truth. They are (1) The Children Of Israel coming out of Egypt and struggling for 40 years in the wilderness. {1 Cor 10:1-11 + Psalm 78 Etc.} Then finally entering into Canaan and capturing it. (2) The Tabernacle of Moses that is given to us as an extremely poor “copy” of the True Tabernacle in Heaven. This Eternal Tabernacle is called the Tabernacle of God. (3) The Seven Harvest Feasts of God that unfold within the harvest year. These “harvests” were called the “appointed times of the Lord.”

Lev 23:44 So Moses declared to the sons of Israel the appointed times of the LORD.

Some have called the Harvest Year the “religious year” which emasculates its reality. The seventh month of the Harvest Year becomes the first month of the Civil or Governmental Year. There were two years that ran concurrently in Israel [ the Harvest Year and the Governmental Year] which also holds certain revelations for us. We can make a distinction between the End of the Harvest Year which becomes the First Month (beginning) of the Visible Kingdom of God. The Harvest and the Kingdom are linked together by these two concurrent years.

However, these are ONLY earthly examples of Eternal Truth. We can spend a lifetime investigating the Earthly Examples conveyed in human words and earthly pictures and never arrive at Eternal Truth. The natural man with human intellect and earth understanding can study and preach all these things for many years but never arrive at the Ultimate Truth they are designed to convey.

This fact reveals the fallacy of trusting in Human Education as a substitute for the infilling and Teaching of the Holy Spirit revealing Truth within the new inner man. “He who leads into All Truth” has been replaced by human teachers with natural understanding “teaching” our next group of “leaders” religious things that have no life.

1John 2:27 And as for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.

Heb 8:11 "AND THEY SHALL NOT TEACH EVERYONE HIS FELLOW CITIZEN, AND EVERYONE HIS BROTHER, SAYING, 'KNOW THE LORD,' FOR ALL SHALL KNOW ME, FROM THE LEAST TO THE GREATEST OF THEM.

John 6:45 "It is written in the prophets, 'AND THEY SHALL ALL BE TAUGHT OF GOD.' Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to Me.

Natural men with no abiding anointing can NEVER explain the ultimate issues of eternity. Even the New Covenant reveals that men teaching us to know the Lord is a defective way of discovering Ultimate Truth. Even evangelism must begin with the Father teaching us. What men teach by natural means can be summed up as “religion.”

The “ultimate issues” [Essence] contain the absolute Truth and the Eternal Facts that originate in God’s ultimate and eternal viewpoint. These “ultimate things” are the eternal reality brought to us by the “Absolute Truth” [Substance] which IS God, Himself. Now these things are written down for us in “earth words”, inspired by the Holy Spirit and conveyed to us in a great diversity of cultural languages. None of these earth languages can accurately convey “Absolute Truth” that IS God, Himself. The existing church problem is that we try to receive “ultimate truth” from out of a fallen condition and by perceiving truth from a limited human perception. This always brings “ultimate truth” down to an earth viewpoint that wants to interpret EVERYTHING as it concerns man and his provision and blessing. The earth viewpoint will always pervert “ultimate truth” that ONLY can be accurately interpreted from God’s Eternal Viewpoint. The result has been a “man centered gospel” that has encouraged natural man to come to the meeting and learn “how to get God to do what we want Him to do, to bless and prosper us.”

As long as we are just seeking our own benefits and blessings, we can never live to fulfill God’s Interests and His Eternal Purpose! The Gospel of Prosperity has missed this simple fact. This is NOT about us and our provision or happiness but is ALL about God and His Eternal Purpose.

God IS Sovereign and sets the rules, determines who has met His standards and determines their eternal destiny. Man’s only valid position is to Do His will, submit to His correction, be changed into His likeness and submit to His Government and fulfill His Eternal Purpose. This means to take up our position UNDER His Kingdom Government as the condition to participate in the next dimension of revealed Truth and to be taught by Him.

We are speculating that this present focus upon a kind of “formula salvation” {of believing something about Jesus and be saved} has originated in human understanding and from a man centered, earth bound viewpoint and then systematized to satisfy our convenience and “man’s self interest.” However, “real salvation” must satisfy God’s interests, meet His standards and fulfill His eternal purpose and prepare us for His predestined purpose!

2Thes 1:5 This is a plain indication of God's righteous judgment so that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which indeed you are suffering.

Being “counted worthy of the Kingdom of God” is a strange concept today that focuses upon a “man centered gospel” that relates the Kingdom to man’s entitlements as children of God or just “going to heaven someday.”

Because the natural man interprets everything from an earth / man-centered / natural perspective it is normal to take eternal truth and reduce it down to a self serving “religion.” Since there is such a diversity of cultures, traditions, education, fears, imaginations, hopes and superstitions, there is a great diversity of religions in the world system. Many of these “earth religions” are called “Christian” but cannot meet the standards of even basic Christianity. That does not prevent many “churches” from beginning a “new work” that holds to certain religious doctrines and to then establish their own standards and systems of religion. They give the “work” a name and a new denomination begins.

None of these “earth systems” of establishing churches has produced the eternal results that were expected. Another perverted, unwelcome and harmful “church system” is clearly exposed when there is ONLY an earth goal presented rather than a valid eternal goal as the focus! They generally just ignore those things that can ONLY be interpreted from God’s perspective.

The Priesthood after the Order of Melchizedek has ALWAYS existed but it is still an emerging priesthood in the experience of the “church”, even after 2000 years have past! Jesus was the very first Man whom took up His Priesthood after the Eternal Order of Melchizedek. Jesus became the King / Priest after that Divine and eternal order. If a one man Priesthood was the goal of this Eternal Priesthood we could all relax and take our comfort and confidence in the earthly order of “being believers” in His Priesthood. However, He becomes the High Priest of an entire company of new and different priests after exactly the same eternal order. How do we know that?

1Pet 2:9 But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God's OWN POSSESSION, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 for you once were NOT A PEOPLE, but now you are THE PEOPLE OF GOD; you had NOT RECEIVED MERCY, but now you have RECEIVED MERCY.

Peter establishes this Royal / Kingly Priesthood as normal and essential for ALL the

people of God that have received the mercy of God. Everyone that has been called out of darkness into His marvelous light has been called to become a Kingdom of Priests. This New Covenant declaration is intended to at last fulfill God’s Purpose for Israel that is revealed in Exodus 19. Israel NEVER fulfilled God’s desire but now it has fallen up the New Covenant believer to complete God’s purpose within the new inner man and experience this Eternal Priesthood. This is not automatic because we believe something but because we have entered into the EXPERIENCE of Priesthood. This is revealed as a process.

1Pet 2:4 And coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected by men, but choice and precious in the sight of God, 5 you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

We must not continue to ignore “Priesthood!” Why? Because it is essential to fulfill God’s Eternal Plan to have a Kingdom of Priests! This “Priesthood” then is not a matter of a specified or hierarchical group over the church or even in the church but is specified as the calling of everybody who is a member of “the Church that He is building.” We want to firmly establish that becoming a priest after the Order Of Melchizedek is NOT an option or a special calling for a few “ministers.”

In other words there are many types, shadows, pictures and copies of things in the heavens that require a fulfillment on earth in a personal and experiential reality. The priesthood after the order of Aaron may be a type BUT the Priesthood after the Order of Melchizedek is the Eternal Reality. Everything in the Tabernacle and its arrangement is “a picture and type” of some eternal reality but is presented as “a COPY” of things in the heavens. We are always trying to understand and reconcile the COPIES to Christian Life and experience! Nevertheless, what is ultimately essential is that we actually experience the Truth and Reality that these copies demonstrate. Even if we can understand ALL the copies and are able to share each one with an anointing, we may still have fallen short of the Experiential Reality or participating in the Ultimate Truth of being priests after the Order of Melchizedek .

We have seen the beginning of the restoration of several former Truths that were normal and active in the experience of the early church! The reality of these Truths and the accompanying experience was lost to the church for centuries. Those who have eyes to see have seen and experienced a small portion of the Royal / Kingly / Priesthood Ministry Of The Holy Spirit that began over 100 years ago. There has been the preliminary introduction in 1905 with the beginning of the Pentecostal movement, then greater manifestations beginning in 1945 with the Latter Rain movement through the miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit! Again in this country, the huge tent meetings from 1945 until about 1960 in which the Holy Spirit manifested Himself and glorified Jesus. Following that “restoration” the Charismatic Renewal began in 1968 and ended in 1985 in this country but is still continuing in a measure in other places.

After over 100 years we might think the revelations and dispensation of the Holy Spirit had run its course. The actual fact is that we have not yet experienced His Fullness and lived within His Royal, Kingly, and Priesthood Ministry. What we missed in 1905 and in each restoration is that the Holy Spirit has come to dwell in us as the King / Priest of our life to establish the Kingdom Laws as an inner reality.

Multitudes, who have acknowledged His existence, have not yet even given Him a tithe of their life. Instead we have offered to men a tithe of our earthly income as full payment for church membership! However, we still have not offered the “spiritual sacrifices to God” or a full consecration of both our outer man AND our new inner man. Therefore, “universal priesthood” has become another doctrine that is without life or reality. Therefore, we lack the actual experience of the “Holy Place Life and ministry of that Eternal Priesthood.”

I am speculating that the next major restoration MUST restore the Holy Place Life and Ministry which is intricately linked to the New Covenant Priesthood after the Order of Melchizedek.

The PRIMARY focus of this Eternal Priesthood is not just to minister to people in some outward meeting that has become normal in the Outer Court tradition. The Primary focus is to stand before the Lord, minister to the Lord and burn Incense and THEN, after that, become His minister to the people. This Isaiah 6 trauma is what will remove the earthly manifestation of the ego centric minister, the carnality of position, the comfort of the status quo and the temptation of lording “authority” over the people through “ministry.” When there is 3/4 of the ministry toward God and 1/4 of the ministry toward people, the “ministry” will be radically changed because the “minister” will be radically changed. When the “minister” discovers he has unclean lips and fallen motives, when he is cleansed, his ministry will advance to another dimension.

If this current “ministry system”, that is visible in the church today, is a “copy” of the heavenly “ministry” then the “heavenly ministry” is not very impressive. It is now clear that finding fault with the current system will not solve the problems created by this current system. Finding fault with the current system will at least make us aware that this current system is too defective to function in the next dimension of ministry. We have NOT discovered the magic bullet that will kill this system and establish another one that more closely reflects the heart of God! Still, we can speculate of what the next dimension of ministry must be.

Why? Because God has given us all these EXAMPLES and types and shadows and word pictures of His Eternal Intension. Again, we are speculating that the necessary change must begin with the “ministry” before there can be a change in the people. Then the people must change before the fallen church system will change. This restoration to an “Every Member Priesthood” is a very distant dream. If we expect the “current church system” to embrace such a radical concept we will be disappointed. The current church system will just “declare” that every believer IS already a priest by what they believe and nothing further is necessary.

Priesthood is currently just an abstract term that is not defined or understood. Most are just holding to the substitute ministry after the order of Aaron. At the present time we haven’t found anyone who is making an experiential application to the Eternal Priesthood after the Order of Melchizedek. This IS the ONLY PRIESTHOOD that is available to the New Covenant believer. Certainly no one we know is attempting to define what that means in the Christian church or the Christian Life or the New Covenant Ministry.

If we limit or concept of this Eternal Priesthood to the earth viewpoint and from a man centered perspective, what we see in the Pope visiting USA looks pretty good. He presents a very elegant picture of Priesthood. The preparation for this kind of earthly priesthood is very long and intense and much too difficult for even most mature believers. Even a universal, corporate priesthood of this earthly kind seems impossible because someone has to work to support this separated priesthood. Consequently, there is no similarity between this earthly priesthood after the Order of Theologians and the Eternal Priesthood after the Order of Melchizedek. They are of entirely different realms.

Still, to qualify for that priesthood requires a very intense preparation over many years. This intense preparation accepted as essential for an earthly priesthood. However, if we suggest ANY preparation is necessary for an Eternal Priesthood, believers cry out “false doctrine,” a wolf has entered the flock. God loves us just like we are! We are already priests!

Martin Luther “restored” the truth of justification by faith but he also saw that every believer was to become a “priest of God.” This was in 1517. He boldly declared the

“ priesthood of the believer.” This was just an announcement of another truth that was necessary to restore. What was neglected was the preparation of the new inner man until he could function “as a priest of God.”

Priesthood just became another “doctrine” but without a life experience. The “earth bound church” just boldly declared “we are already a Kingdom of Priests” and a Holy People. Paul called us all “saints” and that is good enough for us. The Bible says it, I believe it and that settles it. I don’t know what “priesthood means” but I believe I am one. That settles it!

The Bible also says that “You have come to Mt. Zion” but does that include all those who have not yet left Egypt or crossed the Red Sea or eaten the Manna from heaven of drank the water from the Rock? Is Mt. Zion just another doctrine or is it a “life experience?”

Each of these things represent real issues for the church today. The church MUST be confronted with the ultimate issues today or the status quo will prevail for another generation. It is now very unusual just to see the ultimate issues even being appreciated among believers. Why? The vision and goals of the visible church is just temporal, earthly, ego centric, man centered and blessing driven.

The response now is that the Ultimate Issues are irrelevant to my daily needs and goals. The temporal things are more important for my current blessing and happiness. The “pie in the sky” possibilities do not interest me. Even if I win a crown I will just have to throw it at Jesus feet, so why should I even bother? Just give me my daily bread but I need it outside the Kingdom Government of God. I don’t need another boss and I am content and blessed by the Savior. God loves me just like I am!

If the Priesthood after the Order of Melchizedek was just the matter of the outward man “ministering” to men, someone could quickly teach us how to get involved. However, this Eternal Priesthood is assigned to the new inner man and we stand before God and minister to Him in the inner man. Incense prayer is the task of the new inner man. God dwells in His Sanctuary which is the new inner Life. Our body is the “temple” but the Most Holy place is in the New Inner Man which is His sanctuary. That must be the Place of His Ark, His Throne and therefore, His Kingdom Government. This IS the realm of the inner anointing and the area where God teaches us Himself.

This is also the realm of the Lampstand Church, which IS the specific one Christ, Himself, Is Building. The inner illumination is assigned to the seven flame of Fire which is the Seven Spirits of God. This “SEVEN” is the fullness of the Holy Spirit, IN THE Priesthood after the Order Of Melchizedek, ministering to the new inner man and preparing him to experientially participate in the Eternal Priesthood after the same order.

Until the “visible church” is confronted with the ultimate Truth she will continue to ignore the ultimate issues and be swallowed up by more surface issues and outward programs and more religious activities. But why do we use such an ambiguous term as “the Ultimate Issues?”

When we come to the end of this life what exactly have we achieved that has eternal significance? What will “our new name” reflect that identifies our best achieved character and growth? When all preparation has come to an end, what stature and fullness of Christ have we achieved? Has God’s Eternal Purpose and His predestined plan been fulfilled in us and through us? When we all stand before the Judgement Seat of Christ what will God’s evaluation of us be? Will we be included in the company of Overcomers that inherit all things? Will the Bondservants in Revelation 22 be our contemporaries?

Or will we have wasted our time in this dispensation by apathetic living and just serving our ego by exulting ourselves? Will God count us as “worthy to inherit the Kingdom? Will we receive a “Well done, good and faithful servant, or depart from me you lukewarm and lawless hypocrites? ”

Too many are deceived in believing the fundamental lie that everything was accomplished at Calvary and nothing else can be done except to believe in Jesus. Another lie; perfection is by simply believing the gospel. Since “We are already in Christ” we are imputed both His righteousness and His maturity, His faithfulness and His perfection. Another popular lie is that when we are “In Christ” God’s eternal Purpose is completed for us.

This kind of vision perspective is so shallow and defective we wonder how anybody who has read the scripture can possibly subscribe to that nonsense. Much of the visible church has been deceived by this kind of earthly philosophy and yet calls herself “Christian” because of what she “believes.” Of course what she actually believes is too shallow and defective to qualify as “Christian.”

It is my opinion that no radical adjustment and rectification of this fallen church system can come until there is a radical adjustment of its vision perspective. That means from the temporal, from just seeing from earth viewpoint and how man can benefit to the eternal and from the heavenly point of view!

Philosophy is man’s search for truth. Earthly Philosophy is man searching for the ultimate issues and real truth by earthly means, by human means and natural abilities. The “Ultimate Eternal Philosophy” is searching for Ultimate Truth and the Wisdom from above by an inner revelation {Spiritual Light} in the New Inner Man by being individually taught by God.

Human philosophies have infiltrated even the basic doctrines of the Christian life. For Example; I believe the Holy Spirit was only given to get the early church started. Baptism doesn’t do anything for us but is just a public testimony. Tongues have been done away with because they were only for a baby church. Perfection is just by faith. Because God is full of compassion He will ultimately save the Devil and restore even those who were cast into outer darkness. God “saves those now” who believe and obedience is only for rewards. Etc, Etc.

Obviously, human philosophies have replaced the essential nature of the illumination of the Seven Spirits Of God! The consequence is that the Outer Court Ministries have been the focus of most all ministry and the Lampstand has been permitted to go out. Therefore, the Holy Place Life and Ministry has fallen into darkness. My theory is that the restoration of the Holy Place Life and Ministry is absolutely essential for the next restoration.

What exactly does that mean? That the restoration of the Priesthood after the Order of Melchizedek is our greatest priority. We have ignored HIS DISPENSATION TOO LONG. Now it will require a revolution within us to restore Him to His Proper place in our lives; As King / Priest!
