#380 Kingdom: Through A NEW And Living Way
Heb 10:19 Therefore, brothers, having confidence for the entering of the Holy of Holies by the blood of Jesus, 20 which He consecrated for us, a new and living way through the veil; that is, His flesh; 21 and having a Great Priest over the house of God, :22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, our hearts having been sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our body having been washed in pure water; 23 let us hold fast the confession of the hope unyielding, for He who has promised is faithful.
The fuller Kingdom Dimension is seen in the Holy of Holies. That IS the HOLIEST
place in the entire sanctuary of God. Now IF the sanctuary of His Presence was in a distant place where we could go [ like to Mecca] and finally enter in, the start of the trip would begin the process where we BEGIN our entrance into the Power of His Presence. This is NOT the common view by which many understand the “entering into the Holiest.” Instead of “beginning” our entrance at the First Veil, the common understanding is that “begin” at the Third Veil and there is no “process of preparation.” We just walk in now because Jesus shed His Blood.
This greater understanding of the New Inner Man refocuses our attention to the Sanctuary that is NOW within those who have permitted its construction. To assume that the Holy Place AND the Most Holy Place is already constructed because we are born again or because we were baptized or because we have received the Holy Spirit, has been a big past mistake.
If we understood ALL the scriptures about the parts that were assembled and construction of the parts of Tabernacle we would clearly understand that God has a precise pattern and process for its construction. God did NOT permit any ingenuity or variation in its construction. That was because it was HIS HOUSE and He is Sovereign over it.
2Co 6:16 And what agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are a temple of the living God, even as God said, "I will" dwell in them and "walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."
God will dwell in those who permit God to be God in their innermost being. How? By permitting God to establish His Kingdom Government and His laws within. When we are under His Government, He saves those who obey Him.
One of the problems we have created is teaching these things as doctrines rather than emphasizing that ALL THIS is by a new and living way that requires a real Life experience. For example; many teach that now that we have “access” into the Holiest that we can just walk in there any time we please. This is because we have taught the Most Holy Place as a place we go in this earth realm, rather than a “place” that is constructed within our new inner man. Until we understand that EVERYTHING in the New Covenant is directed toward the total New Creation, our thoughts will continually be scattered and cannot be focused upon the “maturity” of the New Inner Man and his capacity to become the current sanctuary of God.
Because we are more natural man than spiritual man, our thoughts will continually descend back to the natural understanding of something earthly. The natural man cannot focus his thoughts upon the spiritual and eternal realms because they are beyond his mental capacity. Therefore, he always tries to make a spiritual application apply to the natural realms. We begin in the spirit but we generally finish in the flesh.
John 6:63 It is the Spirit that gives life. The flesh does not profit, nothing! The Words which I speak to you are spirit and are life.
The flesh profits nothing is a total statement concerning the flesh. This statement by Jesus forever dismisses the flesh as worthless in the realms of the Kingdom and the realms of the Spirt, which are the realms of the Lampstand church. Therefore, ministering natural, earthly, temporal and fleshly things can NEVER produce spirit or Life. Most ALL church “services” are worthless in giving “LIFE” to the congregation. Only that which is Spirit and Life is acceptable in the church in the next dimension of restoration. We have 1700 years of church history to prove that the flesh profits, NOTHING! It is “flesh” and the natural man that has produced this disaster which we call “the visible church.” The shallowness, lukewarmness and the casual way believers view eternal things is proof that the ministry of the natural man, ministering flesh, philosophy and natural ideas CAN produce NOTHING within the church that He is building.
We can ONLY cooperate with Christ in building His church when we minister Spirit and Life. We can ONLY minister Spirit and Life out of the new inner man. As the new inner man develops, the Living and Abiding Word of God (the Spirit of Christ) and the Holy Spirit will be able to minister Spirit and Life through our ministry. NO OTHER ministry is acceptable in the Kingdom / Church / Lampstand realm. Then HOW DO WE ARRIVE at this greater level of ministry? By standing before the Lord, by ministering to the Lord and by burning incense! It is THEN that we can minister Spirit and Life to the people.
2Ch 29:11 "My sons, do not be negligent now, for the LORD has chosen you to stand before Him, to minister to Him, and to be His ministers and burn incense."
This was the requirements for the ministry of the priests after the order of Aaron. Can the
ministry after the order of Melchizedek be anything less? The question then is this; where do we go to “stand before Him?”
Within the New Covenant provision there is the “construction” of the new inner man in whom, ideally, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit dwell. However, this is NOT automatic just because we are born again or that we have certain Outer Court experiences.
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.
When we ignore the requirements to participate in the high calling of God, we cannot expect that by “grace” God will permit us to participate anyway. The concept that too many preach is that because of “grace” God will require NOTHING to participate. In other words; By grace we can enter into the Holiest with no requirements except to be born again.
Very few are even preaching that we MUST become priests of God after the order of Melchizedek to participate in EITHER the Holy Place OR the Most Holy Place Life and Ministry. The doctrine seems to be that ALL born again believers will sit with Jesus on His throne. This is certainly ignorant of scripture and assumes that ALL God is after in His Eternal Purpose is a heaven full of spiritual babies. Is God just building that great nursery in the sky for all His new born, spiritual babies?
Rev 3:21 'He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
The doctrine in many evangelical churches is that ALL WHO ARE SAVED have already overcome. If this was true then why was Jesus warning the Lampstand Churches that they MUST overcome or be rejected? They certainly were born again, baptized in water and ALL were baptized in the Holy Spirit but now they MUST overcome.
Rev 2:26 'And he who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, TO HIM I WILL GIVE AUTHORITY OVER THE NATIONS; 27 AND HE SHALL RULE THEM WITH A ROD OF IRON, AS THE VESSELS OF THE POTTER ARE BROKEN TO PIECES, as I also have received authority from My Father; 28 and I will give him the morning star.
Rev 22:16 "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright morning star."
WINNING CHRIST (the Morning Star) is much more than being born again.
Entering into the Holiest is NOT by learning scriptures or by doctrine or by certain experiences. It is ONLY by a “new and living way.” Therefore, the first priority is to receive His Uncreated Life. This Life first comes into us as seed or “sperma” and forms an embryo or the very beginning of a new creation Christian. Many have assumed that this “beginning” is all there is to the Christian Life and for that reason have never even tried to grow up into Christ. Others have never found the “spiritual food” necessary for the embryo to grow simply because the visible church CANNOT supply more than an outward religion or “messages”which can never feed the New Baby. This problem has become an epidemic even in the Pentecostal Churches.
NOW our High Priest, Jesus, has consecrated a way for us into the Holiest through His
own Blood. The High Priest after the Order of Aaron could ONLY enter into the Holiest once a year on the Day Of Atonement during the Feast of the seventh month. Because sin continued in the priests and in the people it was necessary to repeat this process again from year to year. Now, however, Jesus Christ has once, for all time offered Himself as a sacrifice for sin AND carried His own Blood into the Holiest to sprinkle the Mercy Seat seven times. This finally and completely satisfied God’s requirements, forever. The Day of Atonement is fulfilled for all time to come. Therefore, Christ could now sit down at the right hand of the Father having completed the sin offering for “the people” and for all time. The Day of Atonement is now a continuous feast from Calvary to the final day.
The popular gospel is that now ALL BELIEVERS are in Christ and therefore, all are already seated with Him in the Most Holy Place, at the right hand of God. We are ALL perfect in Christ so there is no necessity to go on to perfection.
Col 1:25 Of this church I was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God, that is, the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations; but has now been manifested to His saints, 27 to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. 28 And we proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, that we may present every man complete in Christ. 29 And for this purpose also I labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me.
IF we were already perfect or complete in Christ it appears that Paul was laboring in vain. What then was he warning these believers about? One of Paul’s complaints about the church in different places was that they were still babes after several years and could NOT receive advanced teaching. Will God actually seat babes upon the Throne of Eternity or will He ONLY seat the overcomers and those who have grown to the measure of the stature that belongs to the fullness of Christ? If we are already perfect why does the scriptures tell us to grow up in all things into Christ, who IS the Head?
Mat 7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. :22 "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' 23 "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'
This “counterfeit gospel” that is offering everybody the Kingdom just because of God’s grace is what I call the “gospel of the half-priced sale.” The “gospel of the bargains” offers believers the highest place in heaven if they will just do God the honor of accepting His Son as their personal Savior. This ridiculous “gospel” ignores 90 % of the scriptures that indicates there is a cost to pay for everything EXCEPT forgiveness of sins.
Luke 14:27 "Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. 28 "For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it? 29 "Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation, and is not able to finish, all who observe it begin to ridicule him, 30 saying, 'This man began to build and was not able to finish.' 31 "Or what king, when he sets out to meet another king in battle, will not first sit down and take counsel whether he is strong enough with ten thousand men to encounter the one coming against him with twenty thousand? 32 "Or else, while the other is still far away, he sends a delegation and asks terms of peace. 33 "So therefore, no one of you can be My disciple who does not give up all his own possessions.
Mat 13:44 "The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field. 45 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking fine pearls, 46 and upon finding one pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
The “gospel of the give- a-ways” offers the Kingdom at NO COST at all; just believe!
Over and over we discover the “new and living way” has a definite cost connected to it, which, obviously, many are not willing to pay.
Heb 7:15 And this is clearer still, if another priest arises according to the likeness of Melchizedek, 16 who has become such not on the basis of a law of physical requirement, but according to the power of an indestructible life.
All who pay the price to enter into this New Covenant Priesthood after the order of Melchizedek will function after the power of that indestructible Life. [Zoe]. Why do we connect “a cost” to this priesthood? Because this IS the priesthood of the Kingdom. The King and His Kingdom IS the “PEARL” of great price and IF we see it we will sell all that we have to purchase THAT pearl. That Is how the Kingdom is! Will anyone actually do that, or is that just another cliche? Actually, there will be a whole Kingdom of Priests after that order and these will hold their priesthood forever. Their “ministry function” will be after the power of that indestructible Life. The “training period” for that priesthood is during this time. The type is seen in the priesthood after the order of Aaron. It appears that the Levites began their training at 20 years and started their ministry at 30 years and continued until they were 50.
Num 4:34 So Moses and Aaron and the leaders of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites by their families, and by their fathers' households, 35 from thirty years and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered the service for work in the tent of meeting.
The Priesthood after the Order of Melchizedek that we receive “in Christ” who was made a priest after that pre-existing order is THE Priesthood of the new species of man. Jesus Christ being the very first fruits of this new species that has been born of God. That means from the Sperma of the Living and Abiding Word Of God. That same Divine Sperma which formed the Embryo in Mary and became Jesus Christ was made available to us. As this same Sperma forms the Embryo of Christ, the Living Word in us, we BEGIN our salvation experience. As the Embryo grows and matures in us it can be said that “Christ is being formed in us.”
Gal 4:19 My children, with whom I am again in labor until Christ is formed in you--
It is new creation man that IS the new species of man required to become a Kingdom of Priests after the order of Melchizedek. The priesthood after the order of Aaron was from the old order of the Adam earth man. Adam AND Aaron are of the old species and CANNOT become a priest after the Order of Melchizedek. In fact, up until the death of Christ it was not possible for anyone to become a priest after the Order of Melchizedek. Therefore, until Calvary, Melchizedek was the ONLY Priest after that order. Why?
Up until Calvary there was no provision for man to die to the life of Adam, be buried and then be resurrected into the New Life of the New Species of Jesus Christ. Since it is ONLY the New Species that CAN become a Priest after the order of Melchizedek, it is clear that no Old Testament saint could qualify. Not even John the Baptist (who’s father was a priest after the order of Aaron) could qualify as a priest after the Order of Melchizedek. For that reason the Kingdom of Priests have only been in the process of being formed since Pentecost. Of course that has been nearly 2000 years and this total priesthood is still a great mystery.
It is my theory that the way into the Holiest, through a new and Living way, is ONLY within the Priesthood after the order of Melchizedek. Why? Because this is the Kingdom of Priests that reign with Christ, the High Priest, after the Order of Melchizedek. I am speculating that EVERYBODY who will be the body of the High Priest will be priests after the same order as the Head. Peter assumed that every believer would be pressing their way into this “Royal Priesthood” or “Kingly Priesthood.”
1Pet 2:9 But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God's OWN POSSESSION, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
Of course this great blessing IS AVAILABLE to all true believers but most will not consecrate themselves to become priests after this order.
1Pet 2:4 And coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected by men, but choice and precious in the sight of God, 5 you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
Many preach these verses as if “all believers” were fulfilling these scriptures without meeting the requirements of the Priesthood or to even understand or offer up “spiritual sacrifices” to God, experientially. If we were actually being built up as living stones into a spiritual house we wouldn’t be free to run around and do our own thing. We would be fastened into our place in the temple of God.
It is amazing how many preach that if we are born again we have already fulfilled every scripture and requirement of God for all time. This “ministry ignorance” will cause many to lose their place in God’s Eternal Purpose and fall short of their destiny in Christ and forfeit their place in the Eternal Kingdom Government of God.
In the natural man’s desire to “serve God” it seems important to get as many “converts” as possible to sit in the pews. The more people we can persuade to sit in our church pews, the more fruit we have produced. In his desire for “success” the natural man will make it as simple and easy as possible for people to be included in “salvation” but fail to include the full requirements for Bible salvation. They preach a “gospel of salvation” that ignores the requirements of the Kingdom. This “other gospel” offers salvation to those who “just believe!” Others add “and you and your household will be saved.” Or some persuade people to be included in Christ by as simple a message as “say these words after me and you will be saved.”
IF this “other gospel” really does provide a level of salvation for Adam, as many believe, it certainly has very little to do with the formation of a “Totally New Creation Inner Man” who has been born from above and is equipped to participate in a “Kingdom Salvation” and live within the Sovereignty of the Kingdom Government of God.
If we were required to limit the number of “believers” in our church to those who qualify for the Kingdom of God, our “success” would be measured differently. It is clear that this “other gospel” is much more effective in building a large assembly on the earth level.
Many confidently count the wood, hay and straw in the pews and report this number to headquarters as “our membership.” All this will be burned up but from the earth viewpoint this appears to be successful. If the Headquarters insisted upon just counting the silver, gold and precious stones as “our membership” many failures would be identified.
1Cor 3:12 Now if any man builds upon the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it, because it is to be revealed with fire; and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work.
1Cor 3:14 If any man's work which he has built upon it remains, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work is burned up, he shall suffer loss; but he himself shall be saved, yet so as through fire.
Very few “headquarters” are serious about testing the quality of each man’s work because that doesn’t look good on the yearly report. Building bigger church buildings to house more wood, hay and straw is very popular but is just providing larger fire places when the testing comes. These “huge fire places” are reported in the Christian Magazines as “huge success stories.”
The Gospel of the Kingdom will bring revelation, understanding and balance to all this “earthly hype.” Since the earth will be destroyed by fire, why would we even be interested in building “church” in this earth realm? The Kingdom is NOT of this realm.
