#362 Kingdom: Restating The Priority of the Inner Life

2Pet 1:5 Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge; 6 and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness; 7 and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and -in your brotherly kindness, love.

If you examine each of these attributes it seems clear that each one is ADDED within the inner life. These are not ADDED to the outer or natural man because neither the outer man or the natural man can enter into the Kingdom. We must ADD to these attributes; and add to the, “Inner Life the Kingdom Government,” now, and not wait for the “Someday Kingdom Government.”

Even though I have written several documents relating our Inner Life to the place where the Kingdom of God is now manifest, there still seems to be a need to identify the inner life as being what we see manifested as, “The Christian Life.” At very least there appears to be a need to restate the priority of a growing inner life that is manifested as, “ The maturity of the Christian.” As long as we only relate the Christian Life to outward work and outward ministry we will be relating to the “effect” without establishing the “cause.” In other words the primary cause of “Christian work” is the developing of the uncreated Life of God, ( Zoe,) in the “Inner Life” of the Christian. At first this may appear to be too radical but upon closer examination we should see that outward work, without a developing inner life, will produce very little except wood , hay and stubble!

I am capitalizing “Inner Life” to distinguish it as the “Very Life of God” which the Bible calls, “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” This defines the Uncreated Life as, “cause,” while the outward work is seen as, “effect,” in the function and life of the Christian. Since we are assuming that the next restoration in the church will be moving into the ”LIFE DIMENSION” of ministry it seems necessary to define the difference. God’s Uncreated Life, (Zoe) is the absolute “cause” and our “inner life” is the “effect.” In our outward work, our inner life is the “cause” and, “outward ministry” is the “effect.” “Without ME you can do nothing,” must refer to the indwelling Christ in us who IS the Living and Abiding Word of God.

Heb 7:15 And this is clearer still, if another priest arises according to the likeness of Melchizedek, 16 who has become such not on the basis of a law of physical requirement, but according to the power of an indestructible life. 17 For it is witnessed of Him, "THOU ART A PRIEST FOREVER ACCORDING TO THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK."

This “eternal Priesthood,” to which we are all “called,” is a FOREVER PRIESTHOOD! We are setting the “eternal priesthood,” which functions in the “Holy Place Ministry,” solidly against the “temporary ministry,” which develops name and fame and a huge following but soon passes into eternity with very little that escapes the fire. We could say that “Eternal Life” is the Life of the Eternal Priesthood. The Priesthood after the order of Melchizedek is based upon this Eternal, Uncreated, Indestructible, Indissoluble Life of God. Vine’s Dictionary says this Greek word “akatalutos” indicates that it is this “Life” which makes its possessor to be the holder of His Priesthood forever.

Heb 7:20 And inasmuch as it was not without an oath 21 (for they indeed became priests without an oath, but He with an oath through the One who said to Him, "THE LORD HAS SWORN AND WILL NOT CHANGE HIS MIND, 'THOU ART A PRIEST FOREVER'"); 22 so much the more also Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant.

This Eternal Priesthood, based upon God’s Uncreated Life, receives its calling, activation and ability within the full provision of the New Covenant. This “Forever Priesthood” is based upon this “Forever Life.”

1Pe 2:5 you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

1Pe 2:9 But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God's OWN POSSESSION, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 for you once were NOT A PEOPLE, but now you are THE PEOPLE OF GOD; you had NOT RECEIVED MERCY, but now you have RECEIVED MERCY.

Since all other priesthoods have passed away and ONLY the Priesthood after the order of Melchizedek is the Eternal, “Forever Priesthood,” it is clear that the “priesthood of the believer” must be after the Order of Melchizedek. Therefore, since this priesthood is built upon the power of an Indestructible LIFE, the developing of this Indestructible Inner Life is the very first priority in preparing for the “Forever Priesthood.” Then, since ALL ministry in the Holy Place is confined to the priesthood, (in the type), it should be clear that each of the fivefold ministries, as well as ALL New Covenant ministries MUST BEGIN in the Holy Place! This “Holy Place Ministry” is related to Life and Spirit. Words which are Spirit and Life originate in the Holy Place as a direct result of the ministry of the Seven Spirits of God AND by the Priesthood eating the Showbread. This higher dimension of “words” is a combination of Incense, Showbread and Inner Illumination.

In the study on Melchizedek we show that Melchizedek is revealed as the Priest of the Most High God throughout all past eternity. However, He is a Priest today and holds His Priesthood forever. Jesus BECAME our High Priest after the order of Melchizedek and also holds His Priesthood forever as ANOTHER Priest after the order of Melchizedek. We might even say that Jesus IS the second Man and the second Priest of the Eternal Order.

Heb 7:11 Now if perfection was through the Levitical priesthood (for on the basis of it the people received the Law), what further need was there for another priest to arise according to the order of Melchizedek

Now there is MORE than one Priest after that Eternal, Forever Order. In that study we showed how Melchizedek was a picture for us of the FULLNESS of the ministry of the Holy Spirit for the church age and related directly to the New Covenant administered by the Lord Jesus Christ, the church’s High Priest after the order of Melchizedek. Melchizedek was the Priest of the Most High God. In the Tabernacle we can see that the Seven Spirits of God are basic to this Priesthood.

However, this Priesthood was not yet completely fulfilled in these two Priests. God has predestined a whole Kingdom of Priests who are a Royal, Kingly, Ruling Priesthood, who are a Holy Nation and have become God’s own possession. This Priesthood will offer up SPIRITUAL SACRIFICES to God. This Priesthood will proclaim the excellencies of HIM who called us out of darkness into His marvelous Light. All this can be just rudimentary and doctrinal until it begins to function out of the power of the Uncreated, Eternal and INDESTRUCTIBLE LIFE of God. This fact now becomes the number one priority of ministering out of the fully developed Inner Life of the Christian. It would seem incredible to me to assign this Priesthood of Life to some outward ministry OR minister. It seems logical to assign this Priesthood of Life to the Inner Life of the New Inner Man.

I assume that very soon a “Christian” will be identified by this Life of God instead of by what he says or by what he does or by what he believes! A New Covenant Priest will not be identified by his ministry or by his title or position but by the Life he manifests.

We have created a “ministering class” of persons with “ministry titles,” positions and authority. The word “Christian” is seldom identified with just the “ministering class” but the “Christian” becomes another class called Laity. If we just related the word “Christian” to the Lampstand Church in the Holy Place it would seem too radical for today. My theory is that “Christian” will be the name of the “ministering class” of Priests after the Order of Melchizedek. These are also called “My sheep” who hear My voice!

This should NOT seem incredible when the Living and Abiding Word of God and the indwelling Holy Spirit have taken up residency in His temple, the New Inner Man. When God becomes man’s Life-Zoe- nothing shall be called impossible. “Out of His belly shall flow” takes on a new dimension of application. When they become the source (the cause), the word we speak will be Spirit and Life and carry Truth and Revelation. My theory is that words that are Spirit and Life are a combination of Incense, Showbread and Inner Illumination.

The “Christian” who lives by this Life will have the ability to also minister words that are both Spirit and Life. In addition to that, God will be able to entrust the greater works to “Christians” who are living by His Life in this Holy Place realm.

I changed the reference from “ministries” to “Christians” to reflect the corporate Kingdom of Priests that make up the Pure Gold Lampstand Church which is only defined correctly in the dimension of the Holy Place Life and Function. The Lampstand Church can only be defined correctly under the fulness of the Seven Flames of Fire, the Seven Eyes of the Lord, which are the Seven Spirits of God, or the Revelation of the Priesthood after the order of Melchizedek. The “Fullness” of the ministry of the Holy Spirit is revealed within the diversity of functions of the Holy Spirit in the Inner Life of the “Christian.” These Seven Eyes of the Lord are the manifested and illuminated ministry of the Seven Spirits of God opening the Inner Eyes to see things never seen my mortal man.

In other studies we have related the Outer Court to the body, the Holy Place to the soul and the Most Holy Place to the spirit where God dwells. Now we want to relate the Outer Court to preparation of the Priesthood and the Sanctuary tent as the place of function for the Priesthood. In this picture the second Veil speaks of the transition from preparation to function. The “SANCTUARY” is related to the Inner Life which is hidden to natural eyes and the eyes of those outside of this realm, who have not yet entered into that dimension of spiritual light.

The “FURNITURE” of this Inner Life (Holy place) is the Gold Lampstand, the Seven Spirits of God, the Table of Showbread, the Showbread, the Altar of Incense, the Incense and the Third Veil which was torn! I am using the word “furniture” to speak of what makes the room suitable for living and working and to define something about “the Work.” Each of these “functions” is necessary for the corporate function of this New Covenant Priesthood after the order of Melchizedek. In other words burning Incense while ignoring the Showbread is NOT priesthood.

Of course more items could be mentioned but this is enough to make the point concerning “the Inner Life” standing before the Lord, ministering to the Lord, and burning Incense. My theory is that “Spiritual Sacrifices” [ in this dimension] are offered up out of the “Inner Life.” The items mentioned above are necessary to “furnish” the Inner Life that prepares us to function in these 4 dimensions of Priesthood.

2Chronicles 29:11 "My sons, do not be negligent now, for the LORD has chosen you to stand before Him, to minister to Him, and to be His ministers and burn incense."

My theory is that (1) To stand before Him (2) Minister to Him (3) To Burn

Incense is the function of the Inner Man rather than the function of the outer man. After this exclusively Holy Place ministry is complete, it will be possible to then (4) become His Minister in the Outer Court dimensions. What is then ministered out of this dimension is Spirit and Life conveying Truth and Revelation. Of course “Spirit and Life” in the inner man is essential and precedes the “word” which is Spirit and Life to the Outer Court dimensions.

If we could be educated so we could speak words that are “Spirit and Life”, all this would be irrelevant. This is the paradox concerning the Inner Life. Obviously, the developing of this Inner Life and the Holy Place ministry is not the result of men teaching us but is the direct result of being taught by God, by the Living and Abiding Word of God and by the inner anointing of the Holy Spirit that teaches us all things. It seems certain that the “five fold ministries” will soon become irrelevant unless they BEGIN in the Holy Place dimension of the Inner Life. Standing before the Lord, Ministering to the Lord, And burning Incense is “CAUSE,” and ministry is the “Effect.” In this dimension we can accurately call them “the Priesthood Ministries!” However, they will be difficult to identify as the “ministering class” because EVERYBODY in that dimension will be a Corporate Kingdom of Priests. Ministry there will not be divided up by names and titles but will be identified primarily by its ministry to the Lord and the Life that is manifested.

It should be obvious that what has been called “BODY MINISTRY” in the past must now BEGIN in the Holy Place Life and Ministry. The Outer Court “body ministry” has been a disaster in the past and has been rejected for that reason. It will be quite revolutionary when the Body of the High Priest begins to minister Spirit and Life, Truth and Revelation in the realms of natural light.

Ministering the revelation of the Showbread under the illumination of the Seven Spirits of God, {normal ministry of the Holy Place} will make “Body Ministry” unique, revolutionary and relevant to the Outer Court believers who are in preparation, and to the world of unbelievers. Trying to convince the unbelievers of the ultimate reality and purpose for our existence through Outer Court doctrines has not been very effective. Words that are Spirit and Life, conveying Truth and Revelation will be revolutionary compared to preaching black words from white paper. [Verses that are letter]

What we are describing may seem too radical but is simply the New Covenant provision and the ministry of the Priesthood after the Order of Melchizedek.

Heb 8:1 Now the main point in what has been said is this: we have such a high priest, who has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, 2 a minister in the sanctuary, and in the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, not man.

We are all aware that there is an eternal sanctuary in Heaven which the Lord pitched or built, not man. That is ground zero for the Kingdom Government of God. He HAS taken His seat on the right hand of the Throne of God. Still, there is the current Tabernacle or temple here on earth. We are that Temple or Sanctuary. In addition to Christ being seated upon the Throne in Heaven, ruling over His universal and Eternal Kingdom, there is the Kingdom which is supposed to be within us. There is supposed to be His Throne in the Inner Man from which He currently rules. This throne is related to the Consecration Offering. This Throne is exposed in the Tabernacle as the Ark of the Covenant that holds the tablets and the Old Covenant. This speaks of and reveals that the location of the Laws of God and the New Covenant that is related to the Inner Life in the Inner Man. “I will put My Laws within you”!

Heb 9:1 Now even the first covenant had regulations of divine worship and the earthly sanctuary. 2 For there was a tabernacle prepared, the outer one, in which were the lampstand and the table and the sacred bread; this is called the holy place.

Heb 9:3 And behind the second veil, there was a tabernacle which is called the Holy of Holies, 4 having a golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which was a golden jar holding the manna, and Aaron's rod which budded, and the tables of the covenant. 5 And above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat; but of these things we cannot now speak in detail.

Without going into too much detail we want to relate these scriptures to our Inner Life which I am relating to the Sanctuary OR, “His heavenly Sanctuary,” His Kingdom within! The Tables of the Covenant are also within us. Not written upon stone tablets but upon fleshly tablets of human hearts. According to the New Covenant this is where God writes His Laws upon our hearts.

Heb 8:10 "FOR THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR MINDS, AND I WILL WRITE THEM UPON THEIR HEARTS. AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.

It is these Inner Laws that identify His people! These Laws represent His Inner Kingdom.

This IS the Kingdom that is being condemned by some as false doctrine because they say that the Kingdom CANNOT come until Messiah comes. My theory is that Jesus has already come and He established His Kingdom within those who obey Him. These Laws of the Kingdom are not written and placed in some Ark in Heaven but in the Inner Life of the New Covenant Christian. This is NOT a ministry thing but a Christian thing. In this dimension we are identified as Christians when we are walking in His statutes and keeping His ordinances, obeying His Laws! This has nothing to do with titles and positions and carnal authority in the church, which IS His body.

It seems ignorant to identify believers as New Covenant Christians who have no Government of God within. Those who ignore His Inner Laws are referred to as “Lawless.”

Mat 7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. Mat 7:22 "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' 23 "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'

Outward ministry without Inner Laws that are being obeyed is just not acceptable in the

Kingdom of God. Why? Because His Laws are His Kingdom Government within! According to Matthew 7, the Kingdom is made up of those who obey the Laws of God.. Lawlessness will disqualify us from participating in His Government.

My point is this; Without a developed Inner Life these Laws will be too abstract to be learned, discerned or obeyed. Multitudes of believers, around the world, are totally unaware that God’s design and purpose is to establish His Kingdom Government in the Inner Life of every believer. This is not possible without obeying His Laws in the Inner Man. The extremely ignorant have declared the Inner Kingdom to be false doctrine!

Heb 5:8 Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered. 9 And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation, 10 being designated by God as a high priest according to the order of Melchizedek.

Of course this does not agree with the “Philosophy of Christianity” that is so popular today. According to this philosophy, God loves us just like we are and all we need to do is acknowledge that He is God and we will be saved. God ignores our crimes before Him if we believe something about Jesus. Exactly what this means “to believe” is confused from group to group. Some reduce this down to “Say these words after me.”

The third Veil in the Tabernacle and the Second Veil in the Sanctuary identifies the separation between the soul and the spirit. This is the Veil that was torn when Jesus was crucified. This Veil is between the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place. If the Holy Place represents the soul and the Most Holy Place represents the spirit, the third Veil is what separates these two parts of the Sanctuary.

Heb 4:11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall through following the same example of disobedience. 12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

In this dimension our whole Inner Man is open and laid bare so that even the thoughts and intentions of the heart {inner man} is revealed to God. In this realm the judgement of God is quite severe upon ALL unclean things. In other dimensions these same things are unnoticed and seem acceptable but in this realm they are severely judged. Why? In this realm we are in the proximity to God’s holy Mountain, Zion!

Psalm 24: 3 Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? And who may stand in His holy place? 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, And has not sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive a blessing from the LORD And righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6 This is the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Thy face-

One of the distressing things about seeking the Presence of God is that in His Light we see light. In this Light all our carnal defects are revealed and we are left devastated by His Perfection, Beauty and Glory! Even the thoughts and intentions of our inner man are revealed. He judges not only what we do but the reason why we do it. If the motive behind what we do is to be seen by men, He must judge that as the wrong motive. This realm is not the location of the happy, carefree and casual Christian!

Isa 33:14 Sinners in Zion are terrified; Trembling has seized the godless. "Who among us can live with the consuming fire? Who among us can live with continual burning?" 15 He who walks righteously, and speaks with sincerity, He who rejects unjust gain, And shakes his hands so that they hold no bribe; He who stops his ears from hearing about bloodshed, And shuts his eyes from looking upon evil; 16 He will dwell on the heights; His refuge will be the impregnable rock; His bread will be given him; His water will be sure. 17 Your eyes will see the King in His beauty; They will behold a far-distant land. 18 Your heart will meditate on terror: "Where is he who counts? Where is he who weighs? Where is he who counts the towers?" 19 You will no longer see a fierce people, A people of unintelligible speech which no one comprehends, Of a stammering tongue which no one understands. 20 Look upon Zion, the city of our appointed feasts; Your eyes shall see Jerusalem an undisturbed habitation, A tent which shall not be folded, Its stakes shall never be pulled up Nor any of its cords be torn apart. 21 But there the majestic One, the LORD, shall be for us A place of rivers and wide canals, On which no boat with oars shall go, And on which no mighty ship shall pass-- 22 For the LORD is our judge, The LORD is our lawgiver, The LORD is our king; He will save us--

These realms and dimensions and Glory of Zion are nearly incomprehensible to our natural mind. The perfection and beauty of Zion is of another realm and must be seen FROM. the other realm. When we look upon the heavenly Zion what we see is the New Jerusalem which is a permanent tent and the place of the Majestic One, The Lord. In this dimension He is The Judge, The Lawgiver, The Lord, The King and The Savior. His Kingdom issues forth from this Eternal Dimension. The fierceness of our human nature can no longer exist in that Most Holy Place. The foreign tongue and stammering lips are replaced with understanding and a clear language. Even though many have a problem with the” tongues” in this realm, this gift will be fulfilled in that realm by clear speech and understanding. These “tongues” originate in the inner man. “Tongues” DO NOT edify the outer man but are designed to edify, build up and strengthen the inner man.

Isa 28:9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: 11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. 13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

1Corinthians 14:21 In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord. 22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serves not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.

2Co 4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.

While the “outer man” will be finally cast aside, because he can ONLY relate to this earthly realm, God’s plan is for the “new Inner Man” to progressively grow day by day into the image of Christ. It is the Inner Man that must go on to maturity. It is NOT the Outer Man OR the Natural Man that will grow to maturity! Spending time on the outer man will be a waste of time because he will remain on this earth. `It is the New Inner Man that is “saved” and passes into eternity. There is a severe problem created in the Christian Life when the Inner Man fails to come to maturity and remains a new baby after many years in the church. These “babies” will pass into that great NURSERY in heaven where there will be milk and strained fruit in abundance. Eventually these “babies” will be cared for and governed on the New Earth

Mt. Zion, with the New Jerusalem, will appear as a distant star from the perspective of the New Earth. They, that are of the New Jerusalem, will shine like stars in the firmament, each with his own glory. Only the mature Inner Man will qualify as citizens of the New Jerusalem. Because of the abundance of immaturity we see in the church, we can conclude that too much of our ministry is limited to the natural, outer man and too little is devoted to the growth of the New Inner Man. It is my opinion that we must be extremely careful about focusing too much time ministering to the outer man. Outward ministry is certainly acceptable in the Kingdom of God but ALL ministry must first BEGIN in the Holy Place or the Inner Life of the New Inner Man. Our most fruitful time will be spent ministering to the Spiritual man or the new Inner Men in the assembly. Edifying the outer man (natural man) on Sunday may build numbers but will not provide Gold for the Lampstand Church!

Since the Third Veil is torn, the Inner Sanctuary is flooded with Light of the Glory of God. This Glory is from the face of Christ Who sits upon the Throne in our Inner Man!

2Co 4:6 For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

This Illumination of the Divine Light floods our inner life and reveals to our Inner Man the Knowledge of the Glory of God. An underdeveloped inner life becomes a strong hindrance that prevents this inner illumination and obscures the Knowledge and this Glory from the casual believer!

Ten people can be saved at the same time and sit in the same church under the same ministry for the same number of years and a few will develop an Inner Life and a mature Inner Man and others will remain babes in Christ after many years. Why is this true? Some only want to be “saved” and go to heaven someday. Some are ignorant and have no idea they are supposed to grow. Some have no idea how to develop the inner man. Some are told that the “inner man” doctrine is false teaching. Some hold to the thought that God loves me just like I am so why change. In other words there are many, many reasons the babes remain babies.

Preaching clearly the Gospel of the Kingdom is the solution, but many are told this is false doctrine because there IS NO VISIBLE KINGDOM now, which all natural men can clearly see! For this reason, some say it was postponed until the Millennium.

Mat 16:28 "Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who shall not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom."

The fact that ALL those people have died cannot change a mind that is already made up and refuses to change.

Mar 9:1 And He was saying to them, "Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who shall not taste death until they see the kingdom of God after it has come with power."

It is obvious that the Kingdom came with power in the first days of the first church. Paul continued to preach the Kingdom of God everywhere he went and Acts 28 ends with Paul preaching the Kingdom! If the Kingdom had been postponed it appears that Paul was wasting his time preaching that which might come someday! He even preached that we must BECOME WORTHY to enter the Kingdom. This flies in the face of the Super Grace preaching that is popular today.

The fact that the Kingdom is not outward and visible in Israel seems to be a stumbling block everywhere the Kingdom is preached as “Present Reality.” Because there is no outward, visible Kingdom in Israel, the message of the Kingdom is condemned as false doctrine. Even the disciples were looking for this outward, visible Kingdom just before Jesus was taken up to heaven. Therefore, they asked Jesus about the visible Kingdom!

Instead of explaining about the visible Kingdom Jesus told them to go into Jerusalem and wait for the Holy Spirit. From what Jesus had taught in John 14-15 &16 it seems clear that it was the Holy Spirit who was going to teach them about these OTHER KINGDOM things and lead them into all this KINGDOM truth. When we ignore the inward provision, for our inward life, that is part of the New Covenant, it confuses many, many issues of what God has purposed for us today. The term “IN THE SPIRIT” can only be understood within the provision of the New Covenant.

Of course the natural man preaches what that means. He says that Jesus said the word is spirit so walking in the Spirit is walking in the scriptures. This is about as far as the natural man, with his superior education, can go! According to the New Covenant we learn that “walking in the Spirit” simply means “walking in the Spirit.”

Mat 24:14 "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come.

If we just look at the context it is clear that preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom PRECEDES the tribulation AND the millennium. After 2000 years every nation has not yet heard the Gospel of the Kingdom. [ Not Even The USA.] Why? Because some “theologian” has declared that this gospel of the Inner Kingdom is false doctrine so we should just look for the visible Kingdom that will come someday. Meanwhile, the gospel of SUPER GRACE will cover our lawlessness.

It is my opinion that the Gospel of the Inner Life is parallel to the Gospel of the Kingdom! Both function together. The “Inner Life” is NOT THE KINGDOM but the INNER LIFE is the headquarters for the Inner Kingdom and the place of His current Throne on earth.
