#289 Kingdom: Multiplication of the Spirit

This may seem strange to talk about the “multiplication of the Spirit” but in the Holy Place where we find the Lampstand church the illumination is completely from the seven flames of fire which are the Seven Spirits of God. From past studies we have found that each of the Seven Spirits of God are in pairs. For example; Isa 4:5 [1] Spirit of Judgement and the Spirit of Burning, Isa 11:2 [2] Spirit of Wisdom and the Spirit of Understanding [3] The Spirit of Counsel and the Spirit of Strength [4] The Spirit of Knowledge and the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord, Zech 12:10 [5] The Spirit of Grace and the Spirit of Supplication, Eph 1:17 [6] The Spirit of Wisdom and the Spirit of Revelation, 1 Peter 4:14 [7] The Spirit of Glory and the Spirit of the Spirit of God.

My theory is that when these Seven Spirits of God are functioning in the church that each manifestation of the Spirit will support the manifestation of the other Spirits until there is a “multiplication” instead of an “addition” so that the manifestation of the Spirit is multiplied in power, magnitude, in diversity and in clarity. We could call this “the Spirit without measure” or the “fullness of the Spirit.”

The question that I am raising is this; Where did the extra bread come from when Jesus broke the bread and fishes? The bread actually “multiplied in His hands” until all weres able to eat. We could say that more bread and fish was “created” at the moment it was needed.

Therefore, we can conclude that “new creation” or “multiplication” is no problem for the Holy Spirit because He can make something out of nothing. He can take the invisible and make it visible, substantial, edible, nutritious and satisfying. Both the visible and the invisible were created by God and can be used by God to do whatever He has purposed.

Col 1:16] For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things have been created by Him and for Him. [17] And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

I am suggesting that in the Kingdom realm things are quite different than in this earth realm and that the multiplication of bread and fish is a reasonable manifestation of the Kingdom reality.

Luke 6: 38] “Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, they will pour into your lap. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.”

It is disappointing that this verse is associated with the gospel of prosperity rather than with the Gospel of the Kingdom where it belongs. In the Kingdom dimension the more we give the more we receive. Why? Because things are multiplied in the Kingdom. To use this verse for just “money and prosperity” is much too shallow [even if it works]. We receive more so we can give more, not so we can heap up more upon ourselves. I am calling this “multiplication” the “Kingdom measure.”

As we share the “Ministry of the Spirit” with others the Holy Spirit is not diminished but rather He is multiplied in the lives of others, as we saw regularly in the Charismatic Renewal. This is a principle in the Kingdom. As the Kingdom is preached and shared with others the Kingdom is not diminished but is multiplied in the lives of others. This is a phenomena of the Kingdom and is called “The treasure that was hid in the field.” This is a “pearl of great price” that is easily worth all that we have. A hidden aspect of the Kingdom is that the treasures multiplies as it is shared with others much like the bread and the fish. Even though this is just a theory now it can easily be tested to see if it is true.

I am guessing that the multiplication of the Spirit and the multiplication of the Kingdom will progress side by side. The difficulty will be in finding the proper “reservoirs” to hold the multiplication for the purpose of sharing with others. The more “priests after the order of Melchizedek”that function in the light of the Seven Spirits of God, the more multiplication of the Spirit and of the Kingdom we will see. This is the “ministry of the sons of the High Priest”, the sons of God. The illumination of the SEVEN Manifestations [multiplications] of the Holy Spirit will produce a multiplication of revelation in the Showbread for the church. The Showbread is the source of “Spirit, Life and Truth” in those who ingest it. I am identifying these “RESERVOIRS” of Truth, Life and Spirit as the sons of God or the sons of the High Priest who are functioning after the order of Melchizedek. Spirit, Life and Truth will be the hallmark of all Kingdom authority that will be manifest to the world as the Gospel of the Kingdom is preached to every nation.

If we receive this great treasure of His Love [Agape] we will have something to share that can be multiplied to others who can in turn multiply it again. I sense that the great army in Joel 2 is the result of multiplication of the attributes of Christ and the character and authority of the Kingdom. This is obviously a spiritual army.

One of the great mysteries that has been hidden to past generations before Martin Luther is the union of man’s new spirit with the Spirit of God. Trying to define this bond between man and God has been very difficult and elusive. Still, without this bond there can be no Christian Life. If “saying these words after me” doesn’t result in some bond between God and man this is just an exercise in futility. Speaking of salvation in any other terms than this bond between God and man is just another Christian philosophy. Without this “bond” there can be no union by which we may produce the fruit that remains.

Although this may not be exactly accurate, I like to think that a “Bondservant” is one who has been joined to God with a bond or covenant. It is certainly this “union / bond / covenant” that produces a richness of life that is a “treasure that is hidden.” Hopefully, we will find the Kingdom treasure in our lifetime!

1Cor 13:1] If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. [2] And if I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. [3] And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I deliver my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.

If we give to the Lord our time, our money, our property, our brain, our ministry and all other things but have not yet given Him our “affection” with Agape we will still be less than “consecrated..” If we hold back anything from God but then give it to another we may be considered as “adulterers” in the Kingdom. This seems to be a Kingdom truth.

Knowing the difference between carnal, human emotions and true Spiritual Emotions is difficult to discern in even spiritual persons. To condemn all emotions is ignorant. Spiritual Emotions are not like human, carnal emotions. Sometimes the Holy Spirit has access to our spirit through spiritual emotions. Trying to reduce the workings of the Holy Spirit down to 7 steps is more ignorance. Reducing spiritual life down to a science or limiting it to a doctrine is placing a restriction upon the Holy Spirit and His work in us. Most ministers that do that are limiting themselves to the natural light of the Outer Court and are putting a veil over their understanding of the next restoration.

The question I am asking is this; If God lives within us how do we respond to Him and how do we manifest Him to others. Trying to manifest Him with human emotions will surely fail. If He is seeking to manifest Himself through us with tenderness, with quiet emotions, with Agape, with a sensitivity of feelings or with forgiveness, with what part of humanity can He do that. It is ceratin that “flesh” will fail. Body and voice may be inadequate. That leaves either the new spirit of man or by his soul. Will our capacity for spiritual things increase.
