#270 Kingdom: Knowing the Heart of God

1 Cor 2:9] but just as it is written, “THINGS which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, AND which HAVE not entered the heart of man, ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.”

1CO 2:10 For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. [11] For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man, which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. [12] Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things freely given to us by God, [13] which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. [14]But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. [15] ] But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no man

One of the mysteries of the New Covenant involves the method that God uses to bring revelation to the church. The natural man cannot participate in these “mysteries” because they are only understood within the spirit of man and are revealed by the Holy Spirit. For that reason only spiritual persons can receive spiritual revelation. The source of all the “revelation” of the cults and of the carnal and religious church systems is from the natural mind of the natural man. Having been in a cult for over 15 years it is easy to recognize the truth of these scriptures.

But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. This principle is 100% accurate, 100% of the time! None of the eternal things can be comprehended by the natural man. Rather they sound like foolishness to him. We may discover and know the things that are in the heart of man by listening to what comes out his mouth, for out of the heart the mouth speaks. We can see by his character and attitudes and how he relates to people some of the things that is in his heart. Pride that is in the heart can be seen within the life of that person. Pride which is invisible can be seen by even the natural man through natural manifestations.

Each man’s thoughts are revealed by the spirit that is in the man. Natural language can convey these thoughts to others by natural words. Most all college and other classrooms convey information by this method. The natural mind uses natural words to convey natural thoughts from the teacher to the students. This is also the same method that most churches use to teach their members about spiritual things. The same method is used to preach from the scriptures.

It is my understanding that this method will no longer be useful or valid in the next restoration which will be by the illumination of the seven Spirits of God upon the Lampstand church!

The problems arise when spiritual thoughts are conveyed by spiritual words and the natural man hears very little or nothing that is actually spiritual. To him the message is a total loss because no spiritual understanding is received. It is for this reason that the transition to the next restoration of “Spirit” will be rejected by most of the believers who are only familiar with the other way [natural] of delivering a message to the church. They will unjustly judge the “spiritual person” that comes with a spiritual message because they will judge by natural means. The spiritual person with a “spiritual message” that has been given by the Spirit can only be judged by another spiritual person who is judging by the Spirit of God. If the “spiritual person” is judged by a carnal believer and their judgement is rejected because it is carnal and fleshly, the spiritual person will be condemned as arrogant and proud and is rejecting correction.

Since all revelation is by the Holy Spirit and we can only know the things freely given to us by God through the Spirit of God, multitudes will be unable to understand these spiritual and deeper things of God. For that reason they will not be able to know the heart of God because these things are hidden from the natural man and he cannot know them.

This will certainly cause many heart aches in the future because the “natural church” is just comfortable with the “natural methods” and will surely judge the next restoration of God by “natural methods and the carnal mind.”

The “spirit of the world” is contrasted with the “Spirit who is from God.”It is by the revelation coming from the “Spirit who is from God” by which we know the things freely given to us by God. The problem is that the natural man is locked out of the revelation that is from God but is many times eager to receive wrong understanding from the “spirit that is from the world.” How else can we explain how some can say that there is no more revelation and God is no longer revealing these things that are freely given to us by God. This is the breeding ground for cults!

GAL 4:21 Tell me, you who want to be under law, do you not listen to the law? [22] For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the bondwoman and one by the free woman. [23] But the son by the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and the son by the free woman through the promise. [24] This is allegorically speaking: for these women are two covenants, one proceeding from Mount Sinai bearing children who are to be slaves; she is Hagar. [25] Now this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to the present Jerusalem, for she is in slavery with her children. [26] But the Jerusalem above is free; she is our mother. [27] For it is written, “REJOICE, BARREN WOMAN WHO DOES NOT BEAR; BREAK forth and shout, you who are not in labor; FOR more are the children of the desolate THAN OF THE ONE WHO HAS A HUSBAND.”

GAL 4:28 And you brethren, like Isaac, are children of promise. [29] But as at that time he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so it is now also. [30] But what does the Scripture say? “CAST out the bondwoman and her son, FOR THE SON OF THE BONDWOMAN SHALL NOT BE AN HEIR WITH THE SON OF THE FREE WOMAN.”

So many Christians today are looking to Jerusalem below as our mother. Some believe that we are born of Israel and are tied to Israel by new birth. Those who are looking to the “spirit of the world” for understanding can not know the things freely given to us by God. The eternal fact is that the Jerusalem above is the mother of us all. But who is included in this “ALL?” Those who are born of the Spirit! The New Covenant obviously joins us to the Jerusalem that is above and not in some abstract way. She is the mother of us all. My point is that no one can know these things except by revelation of the “Spirit who is from God” [from the New Jerusalem.]

Now if the Jerusalem that is above is “our mother” we should at very least visit her occasionally. But will this involve time travel or space travel or some outer limits experience? Not at all! We can visit the earthly Jerusalem by jet plane and be there in less than 10hours. The Jerusalem above can only be visited by riding in the Spirit who is from God.

Eve is the mother of all the natural children connected to earthly Jerusalem but the Jerusalem above is the mother of all spiritual children. We can visit the natural Israel by the “spirit of the world” but it is the “Spirit who is from God” by which we visit the heavenly Jerusalem. All this may seem strange and abstract but there are even stranger things revealed. For example HEB 12:1 Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance, and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, [2] fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

These Old Testament saints are surrounding us and watching us run the race set before us. How would anyone know that unless these things have been revealed by the “Spirit who is from God” Some people say that this great cloud of witnesses are looking out from a window in heaven and are able to see us run the course set before us. This says that this great cloud of witnesses are “surrounding us.” It seems that we can’t see them but they can see us. But what does this mean? That there is just a thin veil between us and them and that there is another dimension of spiritual reality that is just a thin veil away.

My theory is that the distance between the Outer Court and the Holy Place is just a thin veil. On the other side of that veil is a spiritual dimension beyond anything we have experienced in the past. We can only speculate what that dimension holds for the saints of the next restoration. My theory is that 1 Cor 2 is a key verse for the next restoration. [9] but just as it is written, “THINGS which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, AND which HAVE not entered the heart of man, ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.” [10] For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.

When Paul was caught up to the third heaven how far did he have to travel” Is the third heaven just two veils away from where we are? When John saw the visions in the Book of Revelations how far did he have to travel? He was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day and he was there already. My theory is that “in the Spirit” there is no time and no distance. Our feet don’t have to leave the ground and we are there in the Spirit. In the body or out of the body is not known nor is it relevant because this dimension is “in the Spirit.”

It is my opinion that to see things “in the Spirit” in this next restoration will not be strange at all but will be a common experience for those who participate in the Holy Place Life and ministry. Our participation in the Holy Place Life and ministry is our participation in the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom within is not a matter of time and space but a dimension in the Spirit. However, obedience to the Laws of the Kingdom that have been infused into our inner man within the provision of the New Covenant must be the primary introduction to the experience of the Kingdom. The Holy Place Life and ministry then must incorporate the Kingdom life of obedience to the inward laws, statutes and ordinances within.

Heb 10: 16] “THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THEM AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS UPON THEIR HEART, AND UPON THEIR MIND I WILL WRITE THEM,” [16] He then says, [17] “AND THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE.”

HEB 10:19 Since therefore, brethren, we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, [20] by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil

We may have assumed that this “Holy Place” is referring to the Most Holy Place but that is not what this says. Obedience to these laws that are put in our heart and written upon our mind is the confidence to enter into the Holy Place Life and ministry by a “new and living way.” This was not possible before Jesus opened that way by the shedding of His blood and the sacrifice of His body. Passing through this second veil is preparatory to passing through the third veil which also has been provided within the New Covenant.

In the type from the Tabernacle of Moses we understand that passing through this second veil was limited to the high priest and his sons. It is my opinion that this “entrance”is still limited to our High Priest and His sons. Other families are not sanctified for this service. For that reason we must die to our old genealogy from the first Adam, get buried and then get resurrected into the family of the present High Priest. Our “parentage” from the earthly Jerusalem must be replaced with out “parentage” from the Jerusalem above. All the old things need to pass away and all new things must come, experientially! This Priesthood is not according to the law of physical requirements or carnal commandments but according to the power of an indestructible Life, Zoe. For that reason we call this the Life and ministry of the Holy Place! However, this entire priesthood is after the order of Melchizedek. The King/Priest that holds His priesthood forever. Since He had no beginning of days nor end of life, this priesthood proceeds from Divinity but includes the Kingdom of priests to which we are called.

This Kingdom of Priests will be living in the obedience of the Kingdom of Heaven. Everybody up there are doing the will of God and living in the harmony of heaven. Unless the Kingdom of Priests today are living in the harmony of heaven it will be difficult to function in that dimension. Rebellious and corrupt priests and kings under the Old Testament are examples of the attitudes and character of those who will be rejected by God today. Lawlessness cannot be tolerated in the Kingdom and those who are lawless are not known by Him.

When Jesus said “Depart from me I never knew you” He surely didn’t mean that he didn’t know they existed! It is possible that He didn’t know them as His sons or ministers that He had sent. His sons will function in the same character and obedience that was demonstrated by Jesus. I am assuming that this Life and obedience reveals the mystery of the High Priest and His body, [His sons]! To speak of the life and attitudes that are popular in the church today it seems out of place to speak about the visible church being the “body of Christ” or of being “a holy and royal priesthood for His own possession.”

1 Pet 2: 9] But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God’s OWN POSSESSION, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; [10] for you once were NOT A PEOPLE, but now you are THE PEOPLE OF GOD; you had NOT RECEIVED MERCY, but now you have RECEIVED MERCY.

All those who are called “the people of God”today are called to this royal priesthood even as all of Israel was called to be a holy priesthood at Mt. Sinai. To promote a “divided priesthood” between “ministers” and “believers” is an Old Covenant concept that has been popular for hundreds of years in the visible church. The priesthood that is established by physical requirements and carnal commandments today is an aberration. The priesthood that is acknowledged by the power of an indestructible Life is what God will recognize. “I never knew you” will make a distinction between these two “order of priests.” One proceeds from Mt. Sinai and the other from the Jerusalem that is from above.

The authority of the sons of the High Priest proceeds from the throne of God. He has “ALL” authority over both heaven and earth. If He has it “ALL” then the devil has none and His sons only can have delegated authority under His sovereignty. This IS the authority of the manifested sons of God and all of creation is expectantly waiting for this to become a reality.
