#20 Tabernacle: Showbread Scriptures

1 Chr 9:32 And some of their relatives of the sons of the Kohathites {were} over the showbread to prepare it every Sabbath.

1CH 23:29 and with the showbread, and the fine flour for a grain offering, and unleavened wafers, or {what is baked in} the pan, or what is well-mixed, and all measures of volume and size.

1CH 28:16 and the gold by weight for the tables of showbread, for each table; and silver for the silver tables;

2CH 2:4 “Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of the \Lord\ my God, dedicating it to Him, to burn fragrant incense before Him, and { to set out} the showbread continually, and to offer burnt offerings morning and evening, on Sabbaths and on new moons and on the appointed feasts of the \Lord\ our God, this {being required} forever in Israel.

2CH 13:11 “And every morning and evening they burn to the \Lord\ burnt offerings and fragrant incense, and the showbread is {set} on the clean table, and the golden lampstand with its lamps is {ready} to light every evening; for we keep the charge of the \Lord\ our God, but you have forsaken Him.

2CH 29:18 Then they went in to King Hezekiah and said, “We have cleansed the whole house of the \Lord,\ the altar of burnt offering with all of its utensils, and the table of showbread with all of its utensils.

NEH 10:33 for the showbread, for the continual grain offering, for the continual burnt offering, the Sabbaths, the new moon, for the appointed times, for the holy things and for the sin offerings to make atonement for Israel, and all the work of the house of our God.

THE HOLY BREAD

EXO 29:34 “And if any of the flesh of ordination or any of the bread remains until morning, then you shall burn the remainder with fire; it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.

LEV 21:6 ‘They shall be holy to their God and not profane the name of their God, for they present the offerings by fire to the \Lord\, the bread of their God; so they shall be holy.

LEV 21:8 ‘You shall consecrate him, therefore, for he offers the bread of your God; he shall be holy to you; for I the \Lord,\ who sanctifies you, am holy.

LEV 21:22 ‘He may eat the bread of his God, {both} of the most holy and of the holy,

LEV 23:20 ‘The priest shall then wave them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave offering with two lambs before the \Lord\; they are to be holy to the \Lord\ for the priest.

HEB 9:2 For there was a tabernacle prepared, the outer one, in which {were} the lampstand and the table and the sacred bread; this is called the holy place.

THE CONSECRATED BREAD

1SA 21:4 And the priest answered David and said, “There is no ordinary bread on hand, but there is consecrated bread; if only the young men have kept themselves from women.”

1SA 21:6 So the priest gave him consecrated {bread}; for there was no bread there but the bread of the Presence which was removed from before the \Lord\, in order to put hot bread {in its place} when it was taken away.

MAT 12:4 how he entered the house of God, and they ate the consecrated bread, which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those with him, but for the priests alone?

MAR 2:26 how he entered the house of God in the time of Abiathar {the} high priest, and ate the consecrated bread, which is not lawful for {anyone} to eat except the priests, and he gave {it} also to those who were with him?

“ LUK 6:4 how he entered the house of God, and took and ate the consecrated bread which is not lawful for any to eat except the priests alone, and gave it to his companions? “

THE BREAD OF THE PRESENCE

NUM 4:7 “Over the table of the bread of the Presence they shall also spread a cloth of blue and put on it the dishes and the pans and the sacrificial bowls and the jars for the libation, and the continual bread shall be on it.

EXO 25:30 “And you shall set the bread of the Presence on the table before Me at all times.

EXO 35:13 the table and its poles, and all its utensils, and the bread of the Presence;

EXO 39:36 the table, all its utensils, and the bread of the Presence;

1KI 7:48 And Solomon made all the furniture which {was in} the house of the \Lord\: the golden altar and the golden table on which {was} the bread of the Presence;

2CH 4:19 Solomon also made all the things that {were} in the house of God: even the golden altar, the tables with the bread of the Presence on them...
